Investing in Sustainable Communities

Maui faces numerous challenges: impacts of climate change, increasing pressures on infrastructure and our natural environment, food insecurity, vulnerable water resources, and an urgent need for community-directed economic development. Environmental care, social responsibility, and good governance (ESG) investing is an $11 trillion industry that addresses these challenges, and investors who spent billions in our islands just last year can make transparent and measurable ESG commitments that support the transition to a sustainable Maui. Join us for lunchtime discussions about how the community can encourage ESG Investment in: Agriculture, Affordable Housing, Intellectual Property, Renewable Energy, and Sustainable Business Corporations. Presented by Responsible Markets. Free to the community, registration required as space is limited.
