Donors like you have brought hope to families at the Women’s & Children’s Hospital. Your generosity funds lifesaving care, advanced treatments and family-centered programs, creating brighter futures for women and children. Thank you for making a difference!
In just one year, this hospital has filled a critical gap in health care, addressing the rapidly growing needs of our region. It has enabled more families to receive advanced care close to home, reducing the need to travel far from specialized treatment.
The hospital is a place for innovation and collaboration, and you have helped us fund the development and advancement of its services, educational programs and new technologies. Together we were able to impact:
• The John R. and Greli N. Less Charitable Trust Milk Bank, which will collect, process, pasteurize and distribute donated human milk to the youngest patients who need maternal human milk but cannot receive it otherwise.
• The Harvey E. Najim Children’s Emergency Department, featuring quieter, more restful areas and private consultation spaces—all designed to reduce anxiety and make families feel more at ease during a health crisis.
• The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and the Lacie and Joe Gorder Pediatric Cardiac Care Unit provide a compassionate and supportive environment where patients and their families find comfort, care and hope during their most challenging moments.
• Maternal mental health by hiring two social workers to help mothers address pre- and post-partum questions and challenges.
• Pediatric trauma and burn through the funding of additional specialized education and certification for the clinical team, along with backpacks for burn patients to carry their supplies.
