Arper presented its interpretation of contemporary and future trends, rethinking physical spaces with ‘The Project of Living’. The boundaries between home and work are gone. Everything is in flux, so anything is possible. Arper’s furniture enables us to explore these possibilities. With harmonious forms, dynamic colour, and versatile systems that change and grow as we do.

Arper’s exhibition space at Salone del Mobile expressed these ideas through soft, light, colourful materials, which create a fluid atmosphere, allowing visitors to move easily through the spaces with energy and positivity.

EMILY IN MILANO

Arper’s exhibition felt like stepping aboard its hopes and dreams. Everywhere you looked was a reminder of its talent and skill to combine both uber-chic functionality with sustainability. And after turning around every corner in the cloud-like experience, I realised this was no dream, this is their reality.

The soft option

Structured, yet soft, like a basket of pillows, Shaal wraps us in a welcoming embrace, inviting tactility and warmth into residential or commercial spaces. A supportive shell cradles and elevates Shaal’s deep cushioning. Generous yet weightless, anchoring yet adaptable, sustainable yet luxurious: Shaal marries the comfort of residential furnishings with the adaptability of modular construction. Shaal also considers its end of life, with removable, replaceable upholstery, and easily recyclable materials.

Perpetual reinvention

Ghia’s soft, sculptural forms and natureinspired materials balance the geometric and the organic. Through reconfiguration, Ghia invites perpetual reinvention. This new low table system presents form and finish options to create multiple combinations. These options encompass bases in three heights and two shapes, organic or circular tops, and finishes including paint over VOCfree MDF, an FSC-certified European oak veneer, or terrazzo (for the small tabletop).

On your side

Utility and beauty find elegant expression in this sculptural side table. Oell’s offset leg and cantilevered table top sit astride an armchair or a sofa, offering a surface for working, reading, or dining. Versatile for workspaces, hospitality, and residential applications, Oell comes in two heights, two table-top diameters, and considered finishes that complement its essential form. Both top sizes come in MDF or elegant porcelain stoneware in dark or light colourways, and are easily disassembled.

Into the fold

Like origami folds paper into form, Aeeri bends a single sheet of steel into a slender, sculptural table. Strikingly thin yet sturdy, Aeeri is the product of design and material alchemy. This feat of high-tech engineering is crafted from a single sheet of steel just 1 millimetre thick. The top pairs with metal or FSC-certified European oak legs in two different heights. Aeeri is an exercise in efficiency, constructed of five lightweight, sustainable components that ship flat-packed for minimal environmental impact. At end of life, Aeeri can be disassembled and sorted for recycling.

Material difference

Juno 02 recalibrates a timeless chair for a more sustainable future. In 2012, Juno redefined the plastic chair with its slim silhouette. Now, Juno 02 reimagines this enduring expression in a new palette inspired by the natural world. In 70% post-industrial recycled plastic in six new colours, it’s ideal for indoors or out. By retooling the mould, Juno 02’s sleek silhouette and strength requires less material. Offered with and without arms, Juno 02 is comfortable, sturdy and stackable for large-scale use in hospitals, restaurants, offices, or public settings.
