UConn Hartford offers interdisciplinary programs spanning natural sciences, social sciences, and the humanities. If your program is not offered by our 36 departments, you can earn your first 54 credits (about two years) here, then transition to UConn’s main campus in Storrs to finish your degree.
LIVE AND LEARN
Students can apply to live in fully furnished University apartments with private in-unit amenities and communal study areas. Connect with peers through a First Year Experience program that helps ease your transition into college life. Hartford is also home to countless restaurants, museums, parks, and entertainment venues, all as diverse as the city itself. Whether you live on campus or commute, you’ll find many ways to stay involved and build community.

HONORS PROGRAM

Academic Achievement Center (AAC)
The AAC helps students with exam prep, time management, and presentation skills. Receive holistic support and strategic academic counseling to earn the grades you want.
Center for Career Readiness and Life Skills
Our career center connects students with local employers from the many nearby elite businesses, political institutions, and community organizations. Attend on-campus career fairs, recruiting events, and presentations to support your career exploration.
Quantitative Learning Center (Q Center)
The Q Center offers peer tutoring and review sessions for math, chemistry, physics, and statistics. Tutors are current students familiar with the courses to provide targeted help.
Writing Center (W Center)
The W Center supports all kinds of writers in all stages of writing. Collaborate with consultants in person or online to best plan your writing projects.
