Teacher Induction-CA Clear Credential Programs
This credential program is a two-year, individualized, job-embedded system of mentoring, support, and professional learning for newly credentialed teachers.
English Learner Added Authorization (CTEL/CLAD)
This program is for credentialed teachers seeking a Crosscultural Language and Academic Development (CLAD) certification approved by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). This program is offered 100% online.
College Counseling
This certificate is designed for secondary school counselors, teachers, career counselors, admissions personnel, and others who want to develop their professional competencies or are interested in establishing an independent educational consulting practice. This program is also ideal for college admissions professionals who want to help high school students identify postsecondary options.
TESOL
The Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Certificate offers preparation to teach English as a second or foreign language to diverse populations of English learners. The program covers applicable theory in linguistics and in second language development; methods in teaching listening, speaking, reading and writing; current technologies for teaching English; and cultural competency and cultural diversity understanding.
Pathway
Pathway at UCLA Extension is a two-year college program for students with intellectual and other developmental disabilities, offering a blend of educational, social, and vocational experiences. On campus, Pathway students attend classes and participate in the many social, recreational, and cultural activities of a major university.

Kris Lambert
Ms. Lambert has been teaching and designing courses at UCLA Extension for over 13 years. She is a former elementary school teacher and current adult ESL instructor. She was named UCLA Extension’s distinguished teacher of the year in 2016.
