PREPARING

INNOVATIVE LEADERS FOR GLOBAL IMPACT

Growing Demand This is a HISTORIC MOMENT for accounting education in California. New Board of Accountancy standards that took effect in 2014 require those seeking a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in California to complete five years of postsecondary education at an accredited college or university. The UC Davis Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAc) exceeds these standards. Our nine-month program includes advanced courses in auditing, tax and financial reporting, international accounting, ethics and communications. You’ll learn global accounting standards that apply to publicly traded firms, and U.S. standards that apply to many smaller corporations and businesses.

WE INVITE YOU to learn more about the MPAc and how it can help you achieve your personal and professional goals.

As a UC Davis MPAc student, you’ll join a diverse community dedicated to the highest professional accounting standards— and to making a positive impact on the world.
