This year was one of our more ambitious years as we strived to establish ties with a lot of different societies and grow our own society past the expectations that usually would have been put on it. The start to our year was a slow one however, we did pick up the pace coming into Semester 2 and held some really strong events As a Society this year we had some really great achievements such as, increasing the overall interactions with our social media and promotional material, establishing ties with societies that will hopefully be long lasting, and holding ambitious events such as our pub quiz and Simpsons Movie collab in Boole 4 (where we collaborated with 7 different societies and had spot prizes).

We had a really great committee this year They were extremely helpful and committed to the society as a whole and as a chairperson, I could not have asked for a better committee. In a few years time I would love to see the Simpsons society hold bigger and more ambitious events and also establish a greater community within UCC and societies themselves. It would be great to see the society as one that is bigger and better than ever, with an even greater community
