Dear Friend,
The University of Cincinnati Brain Tumor Center offers hope, deep compassion, expertise, and the world’s most advanced treatments to brain tumor patients from not just the Tristate but around the world. Our dedicated experts use their experience, groundbreaking research and the latest technology to treat complex, benign and malignant tumors of the brain, pituitary gland and skull base. Walk Ahead for Brain Tumor Discoveries supports us in this effort by accelerating brain tumor research.
This year, the Walk Ahead for Brain Tumor Discoveries event will take place on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025. To date, almost $2 million has been raised through this exceptional event to build a Brain Tumor Center that offers a strong portfolio of clinical trials and externally funded research, extending and improving the quality of life for patients right here in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region.
Walk Ahead is a celebration of life where families, friends and UC physicians come together to walk or run as a united front in the battle to discover a breakthrough in brain tumors. Each year, nearly 1,500 individuals participate in Walk Ahead in memory or honor of their loved ones.
On behalf of current and future patients, and those impacted by brain tumor diagnoses, we are forever grateful to your dedication to help us find a brain tumor cure. Thanks to your support, the Walk Ahead event continues to drive innovative research, clinical trials and technological advancements. Sponsorship packages are outlined in the following pages, where you will find a wide range of available opportunities to support the center and connect with our dedicated attendees.
We appreciate your thoughtful consideration of this proposal and hope you will be part of Walk Ahead. Please contact Sydney Kavish, Director of Development, at Sydney.Kavish@foundation.uc.edu or 513-556-9489 with questions.
