Weareasportsorganisationforpeoplewithanintellectualdisabilityfromtheage of4yearsoldwithnoupperagelimit.Currentlyalmost8,000athletesfromacross theislandofIrelandparticipatein15differentsportsthroughSpecialOlympics Throughoursports,healthandleadershipprogrammesourathleteslearntobe physically,mentallyandemotionallyfit.Theygettolearnnewskills,increase confidenceandmostimportantlytheygettoexperiencethejoyofsportand makelife-longfriendships! Superhero Day is a fun way to let your students’ inner hero shine through while celebrating and raising funds for Special Olympics athletes. Dress up as your favourite Superheroes, real or not, this October, and donate what you can to Special Olympics Ireland

Polar Plunge: December

Take on the Polar Plunge this December and to get Freezin for a Reason! With 4 events returning this year, in Dublin, Louth, Donegal and Waterford, we would love to have your students onboard at one of these events. Are they BRRRRRave enough to take on the challenge?

Collection Day: April

This coming April 18th and 19th, at locations nationwide, we will be holding out National Collection Day and are calling on your students for support for the day. Can you help out at one of our bagpacks or shopping centre collections in your locality? We aim to have up to 3,000 volunteers on the streets on the day and its only possible with the support of TY students across the country
