Fort Saskatchewan AAA Rangers 2013-2014

Welcome to another season of “AAA� Hockey in Fort Saskatchewan. The hockey program in the Fort is built on a solid foundation of those devoted to the betterment of the sport.

As with any successful program the work begins from the ground up. A special thank you is in order to all the parents, families and guardians who provided the opportunity for these players to participate in the game of hockey, many starting back at the initiation level all the way up to where they are now. It is because of your commitment that these players are now able to demonstrate their dedication to the sport of hockey. Thank you to all the parents, families and guardians.

Adding to this solid foundation is the dedication and expertise of our coaches and their staff. Fort Saskatchewan AAA coaches strive to develop each player to their full potential, not only to prepare them for the current season, but in order to develop them for their next level of hockey. These coaches have dedicated themselves to many hours of attending coaching clinics and upgrading themselves to be the best mentors for our athletes. Always striving to improve on the last rebound, the last play, and the last game, that is the dedication our coaches and their staff bring to the table. We thank you for your continued efforts and expertise.

Bringing it all together at the Elite level takes a lot of effort on part of our volunteers.

Behind-the-scenes these individuals take on a number of responsibilities some of which include ensuring ice times are set, schedules are produced and games go off without a hitch. It takes a group effort to make it look effortless. Thank you volunteers.

To all of the on-ice and off-ice officials for their professionalism and striving to make for the safest and most consistent environment for our athletes. We too appreciate the City of Fort Saskatchewan employees for the extra mile the go to ensure the best ice quality and the cleanliness of the facility.

Finally, the reason we are here, the Elite stream players. You are the product of your hard work coupled with efforts of all those listed above. You have a great foundation which will allow you to take your future in whatever direction you choose. Keep working hard, stay focused and above all, enjoy each moment. These truly will be some of the best years of your life, so ensure you take the time to celebrate with those who were part of helping you get to where you are today.

Welcome to the 2013/14 Boston Pizza MAAA Rangers…

After a competitive and entertaining training camp, we endured some very tough decisions going into the 2013 AMHL pre-season. In the end and after many, many discussions, the team was finalized shortly after the season began. We are proud of the 20 young men we have representing the Boston Pizza MAAA Rangers for this season and welcome everyone to come watch them play.

As for the season to date…. Playing in a super-competitive AMHL league every team needs to prepare weekly, execute and be healthy to have success. We have prepared for every ice session practice or game, but we have struggled due to injuries. Early in the season we lost two players to shoulder injuries for six weeks each but perseverance is the key.

Despite our ups and downs, every player has maintained their focus and commitment to our program. They have kept a positive attitude and work hard every day. I can’t say enough or how proud our staff is with this year’s team’s perseverance and determination throughout all the various hardships and obstacles they have had to face, yet maintaining our goals and striving to turn the year around.

A key highlight of the season was the game against the Canadian Woman Olympic Team on November 19, 2013 on their quest for gold in Sochi, Russia. Thank you for supporting your Rangers as they excited you, impressed you, but most of all, proved we are as good as anyone in the AMHL. I would like to thank Fort Saskatchewan Minor Hockey, my staff, players, parents and all our fans for their support this year. Finally, my Staff and I would like to wish each and every FSMH team a successful year.

WINNERS WAY :: BANTAM On behalf of the Fort Saskatchewan Winner’s Way Bantam AAA Rangers I would like to welcome you to the 2013-14 hockey season. The season promises to be an exciting opportunity for players to continue their individual development in the framework of a team environment. The Bantam AAA Rangers compete in the Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League in the Charger North Division. The league consists of 22 teams from throughout the province of Alberta with the best 13 & 14 year olds competing against each other.

Returning to Fort Saskatchewan’s Winner’s Way Bantam AAA is a position I’m extremely honoured to be in. Fort Saskatchewan Minor Hockey is substantial to myself, having come through the organization as both player and coach. I am thrilled with the staff surrounding myself and the players. I believe their individual strengths and abilities will be instrumental in the development of players and team. I would like to congratulate the 19 players who comprise this year’s team, as their dedication and work ethic through the Spring and Fall camps, enabled them to be a “Ranger”.

The philosophy guiding the team this season will be to embody what “Ranger Hockey” entails. Those characteristics include, but are not limited to: hard-working; committed; team oriented and enthusiastic. Our team will compete every night, embrace challenges as opportunities and continue to improve individual skill set. While we sustain the building of the qualities needed on the ice, I believe it is vital our players maintain a balance in life. The Fort Saskatchewan Winner’s Way Rangers will also continue to accomplish their best in academic pursuits, other athletic endeavors and understanding the magnitude of friends and family. With the emphasis on family, school and hockey it is my belief that players will create more opportunities in the future by allowing doors to remain open. It is our goal to work industriously throughout the season, foster growth that will be incurred, collectively and individually. We will be better tomorrow or in the future, than we are in the present.

Welcome to another season of “AAA� Hockey in Fort Saskatchewan. The hockey program in the Fort is built on a solid foundation of those devoted to the betterment of the sport.

As with any successful program the work begins from the ground up. A special thank you is in order to all the parents, families and guardians who provided the opportunity for these players to participate in the game of hockey, many starting back at the initiation level all the way up to where they are now. It is because of your commitment that these players are now able to demonstrate their dedication to the sport of hockey. Thank you to all the parents, families and guardians.

Adding to this solid foundation is the dedication and expertise of our coaches and their staff. Fort Saskatchewan AAA coaches strive to develop each player to their full potential, not only to prepare them for the current season, but in order to develop them for their next level of hockey. These coaches have dedicated themselves to many hours of attending coaching clinics and upgrading themselves to be the best mentors for our athletes. Always striving to improve on the last rebound, the last play, and the last game, that is the dedication our coaches and their staff bring to the table. We thank you for your continued efforts and expertise.

Bringing it all together at the Elite level takes a lot of effort on part of our volunteers.

Behind-the-scenes these individuals take on a number of responsibilities some of which include ensuring ice times are set, schedules are produced and games go off without a hitch. It takes a group effort to make it look effortless. Thank you volunteers.

To all of the on-ice and off-ice officials for their professionalism and striving to make for the safest and most consistent environment for our athletes. We too appreciate the City of Fort Saskatchewan employees for the extra mile the go to ensure the best ice quality and the cleanliness of the facility.

Finally, the reason we are here, the Elite stream players. You are the product of your hard work coupled with efforts of all those listed above. You have a great foundation which will allow you to take your future in whatever direction you choose. Keep working hard, stay focused and above all, enjoy each moment. Welcome to the 2013/14 Boston Pizza MAAA Rangers…

After a competitive and entertaining training camp, we endured some very tough decisions going into the 2013 AMHL pre-season. In the end and after many, many discussions, the team was finalized shortly after the season began. We are proud of the 20 young men we have representing the Boston Pizza MAAA Rangers for this season and welcome everyone to come watch them play.

As for the season to date…. Playing in a super-competitive AMHL league every team needs to prepare weekly, execute and be healthy to have success. We have prepared for every ice session practice or game, but we have struggled due to injuries. Early in the season we lost two players to shoulder injuries for six weeks each but perseverance is the key.

Despite our ups and downs, every player has maintained their focus and commitment to our program. They have kept a positive attitude and work hard every day. I can’t say enough or how proud our staff is with this year’s team’s perseverance and determination throughout all the various hardships and obstacles they have had to face, yet maintaining our goals and striving to turn the year around.

A key highlight of the season was the game against the Canadian Woman Olympic Team on November 19, 2013 on their quest for gold in Sochi, Russia. Thank you for supporting your Rangers as they excited you, impressed you, but most of all, proved we are as good as anyone in the AMHL. WINNERS WAY :: BANTAM On behalf of the Fort Saskatchewan Winner’s Way Bantam AAA Rangers I would like to welcome you to the 2013-14 hockey season. The season promises to be an exciting opportunity for players to continue their individual development in the framework of a team environment. The Bantam AAA Rangers compete in the Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League in the Charger North Division. The league consists of 22 teams from throughout the province of Alberta with the best 13 & 14 year olds competing against each other.

Returning to Fort Saskatchewan’s Winner’s Way Bantam AAA is a position I’m extremely honoured to be in. Fort Saskatchewan Minor Hockey is substantial to myself, having come through the organization as both player and coach. I am thrilled with the staff surrounding myself and the players. I believe their individual strengths and abilities will be instrumental in the development of players and team. I would like to congratulate the 19 players who comprise this year’s team, as their dedication and work ethic through the Spring and Fall camps, enabled them to be a “Ranger”.

The philosophy guiding the team this season will be to embody what “Ranger Hockey” entails. Those characteristics include, but are not limited to: hard-working; committed; team oriented and enthusiastic. Our team will compete every night, embrace challenges as opportunities and continue to improve individual skill set. While we sustain the building of the qualities needed on the ice, I believe it is vital our players maintain a balance in life. The Fort Saskatchewan Winner’s Way Rangers will also continue to accomplish their best in academic pursuits, other athletic endeavors and understanding the magnitude of friends and family. With the emphasis on family, school and hockey it is my belief that players will create more opportunities in the future by allowing doors to remain open. It is our goal to work industriously throughout the season, foster growth that will be incurred, collectively and individually. We will be better tomorrow or in the future, than we are in the present.
