The 4-H Pledge I pledge, My Head to clearer thinking, My Heart to greater loyalty, My Hands to larger service, My Health to better living, For my club, my community and my country.
The 4-H Grace (Tune of Auld Lang Syne) We thank thee, Lord, for blessings great On this, our own fair land. Teach us to serve thee joyfully, With head, heart, health and hand.
The Club Steer Supporting the community is an important role 4-H clubs fulfill. One of the many ways Fort Saskatchewan Beef works to support the community is through the raising of a Club Steer. Each year, the funds are donated to the charity agreed upon by the members. The Stollery Children’s Hospital and the Fort Saskatchewan Food Bank have been recent recipients of the proceeds. It’s a great way for the kids to pay-it-forward in their community.
Thank You to the Richards Family for raising and halter-breaking the 2021-22 Club Steer.
