TVCC APPRECIATES THEIR AMBASSADORS am·bas·sa·dor: • An official representative of an organization or movement • Representative of activity, organization, company, etc.. someone who is considered to represent an activity, organization, company, etc. The TVCC truly could not accomplish all we do without our Ambassadors. The Ambassadors, go above and beyond in helping the Chamber support local business. Some of the many things they do are assist the Chamber with Ribbon Cutting ceremonies, welcoming the new members and inviting them to participate in the TVCC. The Ambassadors attend ground breakings for new businesses, help at the registration table for mixers and events, act as mentors for new and future members, and spend afternoons at the Chamber office stuffing envelopes for special events. You will catch TVCC Ambassadors pounding the pavement during our City Walks, visiting local businesses. Many of them act as committee chairs and co-chairs, and assist in creating new events and programs to offer members. Yes, the TVCC truly loves our Ambassadors – Thank you! Ambassadors are extraordinary volunteers, who dedicate their time and energy for the betterment of the Chamber. They are an informed group of motivated, enthusiastic and articulate businessmen and women who serve as the backbone of the Chamber’s membership and retention programs. new members and outreach to the Chamber membership as a whole. “It has been a pleasure being an ambassador with TVCC for many reasons. The caring people at the Chamber who are there and always graciously assist me with any business need I may have. The networking and education that is offered is so amazing. The fun events where you meet someone new and help them to be comfortable by introducing them to someone they don’t know or someone they would like to meet.” — Debbie Kosum, Realty ONE Group Southwest “I moved to Temecula back in the 1980’s -“the good old days!” Of course, I have always believed that membership in the Chamber of Commerce is essential to success in business. I had a wonderful time being an Ambassador for the Chamber. Being an Ambassador was a great experience welcoming new entrepreneurs and business leaders, meeting new people and helping them get connected in the community. My favorite part of being an Ambassador was the ribbon cutting events when new businesses opened. In those days, there were ribbon cutting events all the time. The town was so small that each new business was a significant addition to the business community. Another funny part of it all is that in those days, the Chamber of Commerce Mixers were the best – no, make that the ONLY party in town! When I look back on the last twentysix years, I am very proud of all that we have achieved in this Community. I even met my husband at a mixer!” — Monica Sams Oder, Mira Loma Apartments
