NETWORK ASSESSMENT
All users need to have the appropriate network connectivity to support the application. Please have everyone on your team complete the following test on their computer. This includes in office & work-from-home (WFH) employees. The test takes 2-3 minutes per computer to complete.
Where to run the Network Test:
Users (CSRs,DSRs,InsideSales,Manager,etc.)will need to run a Talkdesk Network Test from the location they will be primarily working.
ü Users that work from home should run the test on their home internet setup.
ü Users that work in the office, should run the test from their station.
ü If the user works both from home and in the office, please run the test in both locations.
How to begin Talkdesk Network Assessment?
1. Click the following link on the computer being tested: Talkdesk Network Assessment
2. Enter work email address & click “Start”
3. Input the 23-character alphanumeric Test Code on the Network Results Form. (Locatedattopofscreen)
Network Results Form:
After Network Test is completed, please have each user put the following information on the Talkdesk Network Results Form.
1. Work Email Address
2. Test ID Code
3. Ethernet Cable or Wi-Fi used during test
4. Test Location (Home or Office)
NOTE: Talkdesk recommends all users connect to the internet via ethernet cable rather than WIFI because this can impact connectivity performance. Please consult with each of your users on how the computer is connected to the internet especially for WFH employees.
