to the JULY issue of The Three Villages! Hoorah! We are officially near enough the summer break to get excited about getting away with the family for the first time in three years! ! There is nothing like a break to rejuvenate and come back stronger, so that is what we are going to do… The next magazine will be a Bumper Double issue for August and September!!! We will be back in the autumn all fresh and shiny and full of new ideas, but in the meantime, if you want to get your message about any events or about your fabulous local business to all the residents of Bagshot, Lightwater and Windlesham, don’t delay… contact me today! We have plenty of space to accommodate you in our “Summer” issue, but we do need to hear from you by 29 July so we can fit you in! So, if you need to sit in the shade and take some time out in the heat, this issue offers you puzzles to complete, hobbies to take up, gardening tips to follow, recipes to try, and Oyster Fish n Chips to be eaten (which I am reliably informed are actually a very healthy take on the classic take-away!). We are spoiled to have two branches within reach with the recent opening of the Camberley store!

Volunteering at the Thames Hospice shop in Camberley Although our shop has been in Camberley High Street for over two years several lockdowns and a new High Street build have caused a fair amount of disruption. Please do come and find us - it is a lovely shop and it is often referred to as a boutique! We are raising money for Thames Hospice We provide expert medical, nursing and therapeutic care to adults who have life limiting illnesses for people in East Berkshire and south Buckinghamshire. It costs more than £12 million every year to keep our hospice running. We rely on our community for over 50% of the funds we have to raise annually to provide our services free of charge, 365 days a year, to the people who need us. We have a 28 bed in patient unit and a purpose built Day Therapy centre in Maidenhead. We have a café on site so please, if you are in the area, come and visit us. With so many tasks to do in our Camberley shop, we are able to welcome up to five volunteers at a time so why not come and volunteer with us - it’s a sociable place to be! If you have some spare time please get in touch and come along for a taster session. Thank you for supporting us and we look forward to seeing you in our shop soon!
