Dear Friends, I hope this finds you all well and safe. I’m writing to thank you for making this year’s Law Firm Challenge a huge success. This year has shown just how strong the Tulane Law family is. Your all-in response to the challenges we’ve all been facing is an inspiring demonstration of the crucial role our extraordinary network of Tulanians plays in shaping the futures of our students, our School, and our society. As members of Tulane Law’s top employer firms, so many of you have been generous partners in supporting the School in a variety of ways, from teaching, to mentoring and hiring students, to serving as our ambassadors to prospective students. This Challenge was no exception. I offer a special thank you to the volunteer Challenge Chairs who were instrumental in making the initiative a success. I am delighted to share that 147 members of the five participating firms stepped up to support Tulane Law School as part of the Law Firm Challenge. Undoubtedly, this helped lead to the success of our last fiscal year. The Tulane Law Fund supports scholarships, innovative skills-training programs, career development services, diversity initiatives and more. It also helps Tulane Law School mobilize resources in times of crisis, including supporting students who have been adversely impacted by the current pandemic. Our alumni giving participation rate and these resources are critical to competing with our peer institutions and to Tulane Law’s national standing. To all who participated in the Law Firm Challenge, I am deeply grateful. Please enjoy the enclosed report, which offers a donor honor roll and breakdown of each firm’s success, with special recognition of course for our three winners, Chaffe McCall, Irwin Fritchie Urquhart & Moore and Phelps Dunbar, who all reached 100% alumni participation!
