Jon Reuben stars again

Jon Reuben scored two tries when his Norths Devils beat the Wynnum Manly Seagulls 44-32 at Wondai on Saturday in Queensland Country Week round 18 matches.

The flying outside back scored at the 20th and 67th minutes and his side had led 20-12 at halftime.

Brenko Lee returns after injury

Versatile centre

Brenko Lee lined up for the CQ Capras in their handsome 46-6 win over the Ipswich Jets at Biloela on Saturday.

Brenko was injured recently when playing with NRL team the Redcliffe Dolphins for which the Capras are a feeder club.

He was expected to return to the Dolphins side in coming weeks.

Brenton Baira booted six goals for the Dolphins who defeated the Bears 38-6 at Miles.

At Proserpine a huge crowd saw the Mackay Cutters lose 14-12 to the Magpies after trailing 10-6 at halftime.

Blackhawks handsome win in cold

Freezing weather at Stanthorpe did not prevent Townsville Blackhawks from thrashing the Clydesdales 42-12 on Sunday.

On the Blackhawks side were Jayden Hodges and Gehamat Shibasaki.

On the ladder the Dolphins sit fourth, Capras sixth, Northern Pride ninth, Blackhawks 10th, PNG Hunters 11th, Norths Devils 12th and Mackay Cutters 14th.
