This play by Eugene Ionesco is an interesting ideological approach from the point of view of understanding the key issues of the period, psychology. to understand, crowds

This work of the absurd genre was written in France in 1959. It is a vivid expression of Dadaism, an avant-garde art direction of the early 20th century. From the beginning, Dadaism was a form of rebellion against the First World War. In fact, it not only rejected the meaning and logic of existing art by mocking the syllogism, not tolerating any pattern as an accepted norm, that in the capitalist world, logic and judgment drive people to wars.

Ionesco, being the ideological bearer of the theater of the absurd or the drama of the absurd and Dadaism, presented and shaped the main principles of this direction in his play Rhinoceros, which may not be evident.

The genre of the absurd allows us to perceive reality as full of meaningless illogical facts, which at first glance is so, because the philosophy of the absurd is also at the base. causal from connection, from syllogism.

It is with this logic that the chosen figures (Jean Beranger) even in their appearance (one neat, well-groomed and punctual, the other careless) reflect the rebellion of Dadaism against the reality that fits into the regular and definite pattern of art.
