None have been taken off the top. Handled with longevity in mind these bulls were developed steadily across their growth curve, not pushed and over fed to gain unnecessarily and become over conditioned. His sire, Currency, needs little introduction to the breed. He Redfines Complete

Trail Boss has certainly found his nitch the past several years in the Brangus breed. He now records over 480 progeny and has done a superb job when used on both Brangus and Ultrablack females. His daughters make exceptional females, and his outstanding son Masterpiece is now taking second seat to his sons that are making their own mark on the industry. When you critique his phenotype and structure, he leaves little doubt that he needs to be propagated within this industry. As you appraise this bull and evaluate the expression of muscle down his top and through his rear quarter, his massive depth and spring of rib, correctness of foot and leg structure and the way he strides out with authority and confidence of presence, one is reminded again that it takes more than just high IMF readings, big ribeyes and lots of pounds to keep us viable in the beef industry. Individual Performance At Its Best

Masterpiece strikes again with this individual that projects top tier growth and carcass EPDs and backs it up with actual performance numbers that totally overshadowed his contemporaries. His three-year-old Epic sired dam did not disappoint with her second calf. He recorded a commanding AWW of 760 lb. to ratio 117 and continued down that path with an AYW of 1367 lb. to ratio 112. Ultrasound readings were also off the charts with an AREA of 15.67 to ratio 111 coupled with an AIMF of 6.52 to ratio 123. Daughters of Epic have done us a tremendous job and this one is no exception. They just do an awesome job of raising their calves - solid practical females that are functional and appear to be in it for the long haul. We have always admired the Tradition daughters because of their low maintenance requirements while still raising some of the biggest calves in the pasture.
