CARMARTHEN, SWANSEA & CARDIFF

Dear students,

The Welsh Language Commissioner wants to hear from Further and Higher Education students about their experiences of using Welsh within their institutions.

The aim of this research is to understand students’ access to Welsh-medium services, the support available, and the opportunities they have to use Welsh in both academic and social settings.

The survey is open to all students – Welsh speakers, learners, full-time, part-time, and apprentices. Responses are anonymous and will be used to create a thematic report highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Complete the survey here: https://forms.office.com/e/jw39Snr0eW

The survey will close on 21 November 2025 – make sure to have your say and help strengthen Welsh-medium provision in education!
