In addition to the Jubilee celebrations, we assisted at many other traditional Trinity events throughout the year. Two such events were the Grandparents’ Morning Tea and our Guest Speaker Morning Tea. This year’s guest speaker Dr Michelle Ammerer, a leading interventional cardiologist, entertained us with stories of her journey from her student days at Mercedes College to her studies following school, to life as a busy working mother, while

also delivering an important message about heart health. Due to our fundraising efforts at the Morning Tea, we were able to make contributions to Trinity College and our boys in many ways, both large and small. Another traditional event is our Melbourne Cup Luncheon, this year co-hosted with the Mercedes College P&F. This proved to be a fantastic initiative, with friends and families from both colleges enjoying a great afternoon together.
