Student Roll Call

7 Blue 2008, all going strong... Now it’s off to Year 8!

Joshua Bartlett is 7 Blues’ James Bond, With movie star looks and hair that’s blond.

And Jermaine Beins, our music man, Not shy to perform and is always grand. New addition Samuel Booth to 7 Blue, settled in well without a fuss, Maybe ‘cause he’s now one of us. Another Josh and a Campbell at that, A perfect oral reader and that’s a fact. Number five at last check, is Anton De Francesch, He never sits still... to have a rest!

Then we have Nick, is he friend or foe, …oh no good grief it’s another Di Nardo. Cory Dugan my main man as keen as they come, He would climb mountains to get his work done. Simon Fogliani loves to sit and a chat, He could write the Encyclopedia... of the least known facts!

Jayden Giorgi who has plenty of style, See the girls blush when he cracks his smile. Kristian Giudici with Jaydn his twin bro, They could switch classes and I would never know! Steven Gorman, shirt out, tie loose is his best, In a three piece suit he would still look a mess.

Mr Tony Maxfield

Year 7 Blue Then there’s Noah the Harris, a Rugby man to stay, If he was running at me I’d get out of the way. Next there is Fraser Hay, we call him Mr Cricket, Always batting, bowling and taking heaps of wickets. Kieran the Hunter many talents has he, We call him “Rowdy” ‘cause he’s quiet as can be! Then we have a Kannis of the Michael man, At library and technology he’s in high demand. Thomas Lowry is our pint sized talent, Cross country he’s best there’s no doubt about it. Cameron McSweeney, well what can I say? Certainly has a way to liven the day. Mr Mongoo, the Lance at sport he is great, Look out teachers he’s off to Year 8.

Another Samuel, this one of the Murray form, He’s a very good mate and laughs up a storm. Jay-Jordan Parise or just JJ to us, Always a good mate and never makes a fuss. The man Daniel Pinto always good for a laugh, For a true young gentleman he will always pass. Nicholas is next of the Quinn clan, He thinks he is 7 Blue’s funny man. Sheldon Russell is our star writer, Other young writers, he will inspire. Nicholas Scott our man of science and search, No stopping him when it comes to research.

Brendan Smith Mr Basketball to us all. Has been growing all year and is now so tall. Conall another from that Taggart clan, When it comes to world issues he is our man.

Davide Tassone as a classmate he’s great. Year 7 is done, can’t wait for Year 8. Marcus the Tobin another cricket man, Fours and sixes he is our man.

7 Blues’ Jedi master is Kevin Tran, A friend, a mate and demolition man! Zac is next from the Vernon clan, With his mature writing style he is becoming a young man. Next is Morgan our man from “The Saints” he is. For Watervoort his name will be on their Rookie list.

When in Canberra Jared Whitely drowned me in a field of snow, Don’t worry Jared, I never forget you know. Last but not least we have our own little Stu… That’s Stuart the Zekulich to all of you. I’d like to go on with this verse so rich But I can’t find a word that rhymes with Zekulich. Their mothers all love them and even some dads, I guess they’ve been pretty good lads. So that’s it now for another year I fear, 7 Blues’ done and it’s high school next year. Alas there will be no more 7 Blue, 2009 it will be part of the high school! Good luck boys,

Mr Max Confirmation Retreat 7 Blue

We all went down on the bus, to Retreat to find the Spirit in us. Camp Kelly is a bit of an old place, but it was well equipped and plenty of space. At Rafting we raced and had heaps of fun, When we got out our toes were numb. In the Spirit circle we sat and played We learned each other’s Gifts and Talents and prayed The camp fire was our group meeting place With sticks in the fire and smoke in our face.

After “Remember the Titans” our resting place bed We woke next morning like we were waking from the dead. After breakfast we went for a long bush walk To Mother Nature we did talk. The creation of the river flowing, Feeling God’s presence growing. At walk’s end we made our way back, Had morning tea then time to go pack. On the bus drove out and I looked back at the camp. All misty with dew all wet and damp. I thought about the time I was there, Knowing the Spirit’s message was clear. A quiet trip back, we sat back in our seats Mr Max and Dean were falling asleep.

Morgan Watervoort 7B

Simon Fogliani 7 Blue

This year in 7 Green has been the quickest and most enjoyable class I have ever had throughout all of Trinity. This is most definitely because of the classmates I have, the teacher I have and the fun things our teacher did with us. Book Club has been one of the many highlights this year. I and a lot of other classmates read books we wouldn’t normally have read. Also, travelling through the continents and learning all about them has really given me second thoughts of travelling there in real life. Thanks Miss Raguseo.

Andrew Eyres

This year in 7 Green we have had a lot of fun from playing games to doing serious work. Miss Raguseo has been an outrageously cool teacher during the year. She has been one of the best teachers I have ever had! The sport we have had has been the best, with Basketball, Rugby and Rowing. This year was the best ever!!!

Lewis Martin

This was our last year in the Junior School so we all tried to make it our best. The biggest highlight of the year was our trip to Canberra and Sydney. We all had the best time of our lives in that week and we appreciate the time and effort the teachers and parents put in. Sport this year was great and we all showed true sportsmanship. Being in Miss Raguseo’s class was a great ride, but next year we all know the ride reaches greater heights!

Finlay Koenig-Luck

Miss Nicole Raguseo I enjoyed the year thoroughly. Some of the highlights

Year 7 Green were the Interschool Spelling Bee, the Confirmation Retreat, sport and science.

Blake D’Souza

One of the most exciting moments for me this year was when Trinity 1st XVIII beat Aquinas for the Ian McRae Cup. After we warmed up, Mr Hamer gave an inspirational speech. We received a huge roar from the supporters the minute we were led out on to the oval by Jaydn. It was an intense game and in the end Trinity triumphed by 26 points. After we shook the Aquinas players’ hands, we got presented with a silver cup. It was a spectacular game and one many boys will cherish for their whole lives.
