Opening of the Curtis Aquatic Centre
The Most Reverend Barry J Hickey officially opened the Curtis Aquatic Centre on Wednesday, 17 November 2004.
Special guests for the occasion were Mr Tony Curtis, Principal of the College (1994-2003), his wife Elizabeth and members of their family. The College’s aquatic programmes have been enhanced due to the vision and planning of the College’s administration in constructing a state of the art 50m pool incorporating an international class water polo facility. All PSA water polo fixtures are now being played in the Curtis Aquatic Centre. The College looks forward to improved performances in swimming in the coming years.
