Law and criminal justice professionals study and apply the law in order to make a difference in their communities. Every community needs to protect people, property, infrastructure, data and personal information in a variety of settings.

As security concerns have increased, some occupations in the field have become among the nation’s fastest growing careers. These career opportunities include police officer, forensic investigator, private detective, cybersecurity analyst and transportation security officer, among others. Other law professionals conduct research, draft official

documents, assist attorneys who provide legal advice and present cases in court.

Combining academic theory with hands-on training, Trident Technical College prepares students for careers in criminal justice, homeland security, cybersecurity and paralegal studies.
