The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required for most types of financial assistance. Learn more and apply online at www.studentaid.gov. The earlier you apply, the better.
South Carolina residents enrolled in more than 100 critical workforce programs that lead to an industry-recognized credential, certificate, diploma or degree are eligible for the South Carolina Workforce Industry Needs Scholarship (SCWINS). INVEST IN YOUR DREAMS
The S.C. LIFE Scholarship covers up to $5,000 per year (Fall and Spring semesters) in tuition costs for eligible students. For more information and eligibility requirements, visit bit.ly/SCLIFEscholarship.
Other financial assistance opportunities include S.C. Lottery-funded Tuition Assistance, scholarships, grants, work-study jobs and loans. If necessary, you can enroll in a payment plan and split the remaining tuition cost into multiple payments.
Active military stationed in Charleston and their dependents are eligible to receive the local tuition discount as well as financial aid.

Study abroad opportunities have been a great way for Trident Tech students to expand their studies internationally. Trips to Italy, Belize, Greece and other international destinations allow students to experience other countries and cultures, expanding their knowledge of the world.
Even high school students can get a jump-start on success with Dual Enrollment, which enables students to earn both high school and college credit by successfully completing college courses.
