Create Your Own Community

Relationships and community are vital for our well-being. Whether gathered online or in person, we rely on the support from our friends and fellow students to pull us through.

A student organization becomes a support system for its members. Whether you’re sharing study tips for an upcoming exam or offering a listening ear, you can form friendships with fellow students who have similar interests.

Many student organizations are focused on community service, allowing you opportunities to give back.

With approximately 30 student organizations at Trident Tech, you’re sure to find where you belong.

Spend Your Money Wisely

Trident Tech offers a high-quality education at an affordable cost. Reduce tuition costs even more through financial assistance opportunities such as S.C. Lottery-Funded Tuition Assistance, scholarships, grants, work-study jobs and loans.

The S.C. LIFE Scholarship covers up to $5,000 per year (Fall and Spring semesters) in tuition costs for eligible students. Current S.C. LIFE Scholarship eligibility criteria for a two-year college are:

• Be a South Carolina resident.

• Graduate from a South Carolina high school with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

• Submit final official South Carolina high school transcripts.

• GPA calculated on or before June 15.

Active military stationed in Charleston and their dependents are eligible to receive the local tuition discount as well as financial aid.

The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required for most types of financial assistance. Learn more and apply online at www.studentaid.gov. The earlier you apply, the better.

If necessary, enroll in a payment plan and split remaining tuition cost into multiple payments.

The S.C. Aeronautical Training Center on Thornley Campus provides training for well-paying jobs in aeronautical and advanced manufacturing industries. The three-story building has state-of-the-art equipment and two aircraft hangars that allow TTC to train students for essential skills required now and in the future.
