Lee Courtney What is your home town and how long have you lived in the Valley? I was born in Scottsdale. I have lived in the Valley pretty much my entire life. In Phoenix society, what 4 people have inspired you? Lisa Shover-Kackley, Bill Shover, Joyce Santis, Rebecca Alies-Fine What Valley events have you worked on or chaired in the past 5 years I chaired American Cancer Society’s “Picnic Under the Stars” and Gabriel’s Angels Salud. I have volunteered on several committees. Do you have a favorite song and film? I love all music, especially Frank Sinatra! Film ... Breakfast at Tiffany’s What’s the best book you’ve read last year? Life Above and Beyond the Rim What do you consider your finest hour? Having my son is my greatest accomplishment … and winning a blue ribbon with my horse. Since I was a little girl, I have dreamed of having a horse. That partnership is indescribable. What 7 people living or dead would you invite to a dinner party? My Husband Joe, my son Chase, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Oprah, Princess Diana, and my grandfather Joseph Zbacnik What’s your worst habit? The worst ... You would have to ask my husband … I know there are probably several … I try not to focus on the bad What’s your motto? Don’t wish upon a star ... Go out and be ONE!
