Another customisable 12.3” digital instrument cluster replaces traditional analogues, allowing for clear driver-focused information and customisation.

The next evolution of a super-connected lifestyle, Hyundai Bluelink™ allows users to check on, communicate with, and even remotely operate their Hyundai from anywhere, anytime, via their smartphone.

Debuting in the 2023 Palisade, with the Bluelink™ app you can confirm your car’s status from afar, including data such as fuel levels, whether or not it’s locked, or whether an individual door or window is open. You can then open or close particular windows, or just the boot, allowing for remote secure deliveries. And should you ever forget where you’ve parked, the Bluelink™ Find My Car 4 feature will guide you back, too.

You can also remotely activate your climate control or defrost heat settings, or, in the Palisade Highlander variant, even turn on heated or cooled seats in advance of your arrival. And should you want to make a visual check on your vehicle, however remotely, the Remote Surround View Monitor can transmit vision from the Palisade Highlander’s 360-degree bird’s eye view parking cameras direct to your phone screen

Bluelink™ app puts your safety first, such as alerting you whenever an alarm is triggered, or contacting emergency services5 in the case of a serious accident, alongside functions such as handsfree calls, locations of fixed and mobile speed camera alerts, and weather forecasts .

The Palisade’s Hyundai SmartSense™ is an ensemble of safety features designed to protect you and your family. Unobtrusive, yet constantly vigilant, it works in the background, ever ready to intervene if required.

The safety of your family is further enhanced in the Palisade through seven airbags — including a new front centre airbag — with curtain protection that extends to the third seating row.

There’s no room for complacency on the road. That’s why Hyundai’s Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM) 2 maintains a watchful eye, activating automatically whenever you use your indicators. This safety system can detect cars travelling in rear blind spots and projects real-time video onto the 12.3” digital instrument cluster, giving the driver an even better driving picture to respond to.

For more precise, low-speed manoeuvring – such as negotiating tight parking spots – there’s Surround View Monitor with 3D view It uses multi-camera technology to display a bird’s eye, 360-degree, three-dimensional image of the Palisade, and its immediate surroundings, on the central 12.3” touchscreen.

Of course, that’s far from every trick in the SmartSense™ book. Multiple standard features, from Remote Smart Park Assist (RSPA) , Rear Parking Collision Avoidance Assist (PCA-R) 2 Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist –Junction Turning (FCA-JT), and Safe Exit Assist (SEA), join an already comprehensive suite of SmartSense™ systems for the first time in the 2023 Palisade.

With a full five-star ANCAP safety rating3 and a host of active and passive safety features included on every model, you can know your family is in good hands in the Palisade.

Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) - Advanced

This system monitors the Palisade’s rear doors opening and closing so nothing is accidentally left behind inside the Palisade. When the driver stops the engine and opens their door to exit, ROA will display a “Check rear seats" warning message in the supervision cluster. And if the system detects movement after the driver parks, turns the ignition off and locks the Palisade, it will sound an alarm, alerting the driver.

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA)

RCCA monitors for traffic approaching on either side of the Palisade when reversing out of perpendicular parking spaces. Should RCCA detect a vehicle approaching, a warning will sound and a visual alert will appear in the cluster. Then if necessary, emergency braking can self-activate to help prevent a collision.

Safe Exit Assist (SEA)

The Palisade’s senses are always looking out for you. Even when it’s parked, if it detects a car approaching from behind, it can prevent the driver from disengaging the electronic child safety lock stopping passengers in the 2nd row seat from exiting the vehicle. And if it detects a vehicle approaching and a road-facing rear passenger opens their door, it will sound a warning chime reminding them to be careful and a warning sign will also pop up in the cluster.

Lane Following Assist (LFA)

LFA uses the front windshield mounted camera to detect lane markers and preceding traffic on the road and provides steering assistance to assist keeping the vehicle in the centre of the lane.
