HELPING EACH OTHER DO MORE. AND DO IT BETTER.

Joining hearts and hands, working together, and sharing resources.

In other words, how do you make the whole equal more than the sum of its parts.
TRADITION has been leveraging this math-defying equation to be a force for good in the community and beyond, and this mindset has seeped into the network of nonprofits we support.
After noticing common themes across these nonprofits-providing assistance in areas a ecting children, Veterans, and mental health, we have encouraged these organizations to open up their resources and communities to one another in order to enhance their service capabilities and better achieve their missions.
By working together, they create a synergy that allows them to do more, and do it better.
Enjoy these examples of how the nonprofits have been implementing this initiative in a variety of creative ways.

It has been a pleasure to get to know Shane and the team at United Heroes League. Our Executive Director, Jessi, and I were able to visit the UHL campus and Shane gave us a great tour of the property and laid out their vision for future development. It will be awesome!
After the tour we were able to take some time and talk about how our missions align and ways we can help each other. First, UHL receives an abundance of new apparel from donors and graciously o ered to share some of that with ETS. Any time veterans can come in our supply store and acquire brand new items is a huge win for all! Shane and his team delivered 1,200 pieces of apparel to our ETS supply store and we are working hard to get those items out on the floor and in the hands of veterans.
Additionally, Shane spoke about the fact that there are often tickets to games available that he would be willing to share. Getting some tickets periodically would really help ETS so we can use them to say thank you to volunteers, veterans, and sta . Finally, ETS was o ered the opportunity to get some of our veteran's names on bricks that will go on the Veterans Monument. Having their name on a brick makes veterans feel valued and recognized, which is always a positive experience. We plan on holding an event at the monument next spring to reveal the engraved bricks, serve food, and truly celebrate these veterans and their accomplishments.
Although UHL focuses on the kids of veterans that are currently serving in the military, ETS is always available as a resource to the parents of these children. It is our great hope that we can reciprocate the generosity shown by UHL by supporting any veteran, currently serving military member, or spouse, in their time of need.
ETS is proud to be part of the Force For Good and is truly excited to have formed a new partnership with United Heroes League that will produce dividends for veterans, military members, spouses, and their children, and we look forward to making connections with the other organizations as well!

ETS Warrior’s Return Veterans had a great time at the Wild Game thanks to our friends at United Heroes League early November 2022 They enjoyed the victory over the Canadiens!
This picture is of 18 veterans and their family and friends who were able to attend the 11/1 Wild game. The tickets were donated to United Heroes League and they were unable to use them, so they passed them on to ETS and we used every one of them! Just a small example of how well our partnership is working and continues to grow.

Through our initial partnerships with Force for Good organizations, we can not only address mental health needs on a wider scale, but we are also able to get the greatest return on the

Legacy Fishing Retreat invited a family that The Grief Club has the privilege of serving to join them at the Legacy Family Fishing Retreat at Pike Point Resort, north of Bemidji, MN.
Gabrielle (who recently lost her husband) brought her boys, her mother and her uncle to the Legacy Family Fishing Retreat at no cost to them. Gabrielle and her boys were absolutely thrilled when they got this news; and Sarah (The Grief Club) was very appreciative for this wonderful opportunity for her client.
The weekend included fishing, swimming, fellowship, free time, campfires, great worship music, grilling and an outdoor Sunday Service with potluck dinner after. Each family has their own cabin and can regulate their own time and the events they would like to participate in. There was even a night of fishing for just the adult women on a pontoon.
This Legacy Retreat gave Gabrielle and her family a chance to heal, make new friends, and do some really fun things together, enjoying a hope-filled weekend making new family memories.

United Heroes League donated bicycles, helmets, rollerblades, and water bottles to The Grief Club on 1/23/24 - undoubtedly bringing smiles and joy to so many of the families they have the privilege to serve.

United Heroes League acquired a few hundred nice cushioned banquet chairs that they are o ering to Force For Good organizations.
Anyone interested should contact Shane directly to coordinate.
Every Third Saturday requested 30 chairs for their VREC space.
