A new dawn for TradeWinds
We announced in April 2023, that as TradeWinds enters its 25 years of creating unforgettable sailing experiences, the co-founders Magnus Lewin and Edith Carvalho together with longstanding partner Nina Costa have sold TradeWinds Experience to the senior management team.
The new ownership group together have decades of experience working at TradeWinds and share the core values that are fundamental to the club. Everyone in TradeWinds is committed to continuing the vision set forth by the founders, fulfilling their dream of creating sustainable land
and sea experiences in extraordinary destinations around the globe.
The original vision of making luxury charter sailing attainable to more than just a privileged few led to the creation of TradeWinds, starting with one modest yacht, Turquoise Dreams. Today,we count you as one of the more than 5,000 loyal members, who have privileged access to sailing on state-of-the-art catamarans and luxury properties around the world.
Also in April 2023, we joined prestige yacht builders Fontaine Pajot as they showcased the new custom-
designed TradeWinds yachts, the most environmentally sensitive yachts ever to leave their boatyard.
The first of those yachts, AURORA, is the dawn of TradeWinds’ sustainable tomorrow.
With an extensive plan to gradually replace the existing AQUA experience fleet with even more sustainable yachts powered by renewable energies, our goal is to become predominantly emission-free within 10 years.
The future of your TradeWinds will include us doing our part to preserve the oceans we share. We are proud
to continue the work started by Edith and Magnus on this and other fronts and intend to earn the continued loyalty of you, our members.

Scuba diving

Your Captain or First Mate will act as your Dive Master, and all you have to do is step off the yacht to your dive site. Get wet, safely, with TradeWinds.

Snorkeling
A great joy of sailing with TradeWinds is not what you can see above the waves, but what you discover below.
Snorkeling opens up an incredible undersea world, reefs teeming with marine life, exotic
fish, and colorful corals swaying gently in the current. Snorkeling in protected, shallow waters is the perfect activity for a lazy afternoon.
Never snorkeled before? No problem, our crew will be happy
to introduce you to this wonderful pastime. All our yachts come equipped with complimentary snorkeling gear.
And the best bit? You don’t need to be a certified diver to enjoy this exciting activity!
Kayaking and stand-up paddling
Looking for an activity that’s a little bit different? During your vacation adventure, discover more this water wonderland from a kayak or SUP-board.
Our catamarans come equipped with steady ocean kayaks, giving our guests access to remote and hidden stretches of coastline. Go for an energetic paddle while exploring the coast or take drinks and relax in a secluded cove with a loved one.
You can also enjoy one of the most popular outdoor activities, stand-up paddling available for the fun of all guests. Gather everyone for an important “board meeting” with cocktails to reflect on all of the excitement enjoyed together this week.
Hiking and beach combing
There’s truly something for everyone when you book a vacation with TradeWinds. Our itineraries include a variety of opportunities to explore on land as well as at sea.
Relax onboard your luxury catamaran or head ashore and enjoy incredible hiking trails, from naval history to rainforest treks.

Fishing

Cast off as you set sail and experience the thrill of fishing whilst onboard your catamaran, or perhaps try your hand at
beach fishing under the shade of the coconut trees.
There’s nothing quite like catching a fish or two, fresh from the sea and grilling them onboard on our barbecue, the freshest
fish you’ll ever taste! Or why not ask your chef to prepare some ultra-fresh sashimi?

Learn to sail
Your Captain is trained to the highest standard and is more than happy to show you “the ropes” when it comes to sailing.
He/she holds a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Yachtmaster™
Offshore Certificate, an internationally recognized qualification.
You can choose just to relax and enjoy your sailing experience taking in the spectacular views, or try a fun new activity: sailing.
Nothing beats taking the helm as your Captain guides you through the basics of sailing and all the terms and phrases you will need to know – including how to tell port from starboard and bow from stern!

St. Martin, Anguilla and St. Barths
A year-round tropical climate, sparkling azure waters and unforgettable Caribbean hospitality are some of the highlights of the multination destination. During this full and vibrant week, we enjoy a beautiful mix of ocean, picture-perfect lagoon beaches, and discover some of the Caribbean’s finest corals and wreck sites.
Our adventure begins from St Martin, the distinctively different and beautiful island, known as the “Crossroads to the Caribbean”. PlusPoints Bookings
As a TradeWinds Member, you have access to a range of exciting and exclusive experiences. To help you book your dream vacation, we’ve created our own internal currency: TradeWinds PlusPoints (PP).
When you join our program, you’ll purchase a fixed number of points, and there are no restrictions on how you choose to spend them. For example, you could use all of your points for a big celebration, like a special birthday or anniversary.
You could even plan two or three private bookings, where you book an AQUA or TERRA experience for you and your guests, or simply use your points over time.
That’s the great thing about our membership program, it offers you complete flexibility – to help you plan your future vacations.
Once you decide where and when you want to go, you can book directly via our members website, where you’ll also be able to check for availability, reserve space and find
helpful information on all the exciting experiences we offer.
You can also contact our reservation team for assistance by e-mail or phone. Just make sure that your maintenance fee payment relating to the PlusPoints reservation that you want to make is up to date –then you are ready to go!
The pricing structure of our PlusPoints means that the more points you purchase at any one time, the less expensive it is per point. You can only purchase PlusPoints during your vacation through your Captain, but in case you need an extra few to complete a booking, you can contact our Reservations Team for assistance. However, this way no package deals are availble, meaning the PP price is fixed.
Over the next few pages, you will find further exciting alternatives of how to book vacations with us. These options won’t cost you any points at all. In fact, you might earn some instead!
Late Breaks
You can gain enormous additional value from your TradeWinds membership, when your schedule allows you a certain flexibility. Late Breaks are vacations available 45 days or less from departure date and they will not cost you a single PlusPoint.

Member Referral Program
You probably know plenty of people who would enjoy a TradeWinds vacation as much as you do, so please introduce them to us! We’ll look after them in exactly the same way as we take care of you when you join us on your vacation.
The Member Referral Program couldn’t be easier to use. Just leave the details of your friends or family members who you would like us to contact in the members section of the TradeWinds website, and we’ll send them an e-mail invitation.
Your referrals will enjoy an all-inclusive TradeWinds vacation for 40% of the normal rental rates. However, they will only be able to take advantage of this offer once and it is only available for guests who have never cruised with us before.

Each season has its own beauty. Interestingly enough though, we find that off-peak season at our various destinations often guarantees the same kind of sun and fun, but with less people around. And that is just the point we want to make here with our seasonality structure.

FEES
All-Inclusive Fee
The all-inclusive fees (per person per week) for 2025 are listed below and are effective for bookings taken from November 1 to October 31.
Children aged 12 years and under pay only 50 % of the all-inclusive fee. No fee for children under three years of age.
For AQUA experiences, the fee includes all food and beverages available for your stay (except for two evening meals ashore), captain and
host, cruising fees and permits, onboard water sports activities including diving (where available for certified divers only), fuel for generators and engines, docking and mooring fees, water, shore power (where applicable), cleaning and local taxes.
For TERRA experiences, the fee includes all food and beverages available for your stay (except as indicated), water sports and land activities, water, electricity, cleaning and local taxes.

Maintenance Fee
The maintenance fee for 2025 is set at $ 955 USD per 100,000 PlusPoints allocated per year. This is payable per year or per usage, whichever comes first.
It includes the following: Maintenance, repair, redecoration (where appropriate), painting, cleaning and, when necessary, the renewal of internal and external structures of the vessel(s), all machinery and other equipment.
It includes replacement of furniture, fittings and fixtures in cabins and general areas such as passageways, saloon, cockpit and deck areas of the vessel(s) when necessary.
Insurance of the vessel(s) for the full current value thereof plus any other insurance which the Management Company shall consider necessary and appropriate according to the law.

Points Statement
Your TradeWinds PlusPoints Statement is the easiest way to track how many points you have used and how many you have remaining. Each time you confirm a reservation within the TradeWinds PlusPoints system, your personal PlusPoints account will be updated online on the members website.
This gives you complete control over your points account. At any time, you can add bonus points to your account by speaking to a crew member or a member of the reservations team.
Rescheduling and canceling a reservation
We understand that members may need to reschedule, cancel, or amend a confirmed reservation. If cancelled more than one year from check-in, there is no fee; if within one-year, applicable cancelation fees apply. However, it is not possible to change a reservation less than 90 days from check-in.
