25 Years of sailing into the future

You belong.

Celebrating a quarter century of adventure, happiness and sustainability

Twenty-five years ago, a dream set sail – a vision of exploring the world not just by sea, but through meaningful connections, shared adventures and unforgettable moments aboard our yachts.

What began as a small but ambitious venture has grown into a global experience, with TradeWinds’ bases across the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, the South Pacific

and beyond. Our fleet and our properties have steadily expanded, each new yacht and each new property a symbol of our growth, our spirit of discovery and our unwavering dedication to excellence.

This 25th anniversary marks more than just a milestone in years; it is a celebration of all that has been built by the hands and hearts of so many. We are immensely

grateful to our loyal members and guests, whose continued support, passion for sailing and love of life on the water have shaped our journey. Your enthusiasm fuels our purpose and your trust has allowed us to evolve, innovate and grow.

We also owe a deep debt of gratitude to the incredible people behind the scenes and on the front lines: TradeWinds’ team.

From our devoted crews to our tireless shore staff and managers, each individual has contributed not just skills and effort, but joy, laughter and a shared belief in the power of hospitality. Their diligence, professionalism and exuberance for life are the foundation on which this company has flourished.

Looking ahead, we are more committed than ever to crafting transformative experiences while being mindful of the world we sail through and live on. As we navigate into the future, sustainability is no longer just a value – it is our compass. Our investment in solar-electric yachts, eco-conscious operations and low-impact travel reflects a responsibility to the seas we cherish and the communities we visit.

TradeWinds remains anchored in our core belief: that travel should not only be luxurious but enriching, responsible and deeply human. As we embark on the next chapter, we invite you to continue this journey with us – toward even more adventures, even greater connections and a cleaner, brighter horizon for all.

With gratitude and anticipation, Neil

The beginning of TradeWinds

Setting sail

Until the late 1990’s, the vast majority of sailing yachts in the Caribbean were only available to non-owners by privately chartering the entire yacht. Our co-founders had a dream and a vision of making cruising available to everyone by offering shared experiences aboard luxury catamarans.

That dream became a reality when TradeWinds’ first crewed charter operations began in the eastern Caribbean, with one

five-cabin catamaran, aptly named Turquoise Dreams, sailing out of Sint Maarten in March 1999.

Alvin) college graduations, memorial cruises – the list goes on and on and it’s been an incredible journey.

Almost 26 years later, we have been thrilled to host all kinds of celebrations for our members and guests all around the world – proposals (including one underwater proposal), engagements, marriages, renewals of vows and birthdays (such as the 100th birthday celebration of our late member,

Since that first cruise around Sint Maarten, over 100,000 people have cruised with us and their feedback has been overwhelmingly good. We don’t always get new ideas right straight away, but we learn as we grow and we welcome observations from all of our members and guests.

All along the road we have tried as hard as we can to enrich the communities around our bases and promote sustainable practices both on our yachts and at our bases themselves, worldwide. One example of this is that when it was time for our original yacht Turquoise Dreams to retire from service, she was donated to a coral restoration project and now serves as a diving platform for reef restoration in the Grenadines.

The Bequia fireworks

It was early afternoon on December 31, 1999, the last day of the 20th century and on a sleepy little Caribbean island a HUGE event was about to happen!

The Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Sir James Fitz-Allen Mitchell, had bought a load of fireworks from Miami to celebrate the new millennium (with his own money, not with government funds). He called my husband, Peter – a Norwegian marine engineer who worked with a new yacht charter company on the island – asking if he can put together a team of people who will set off these fireworks, currently on the SVG Coastguard launch on their way to Bequia Police Station. Peter made a few calls and within an hour or so he had a small team of volunteers signed up. This included the captain of the clipper ship “Yankee Clipper”, who had just

arrived with his own fireworks to add to the display; and the captain of the new yacht charter company! Can you guess who that was? It was of course our co-founder, Magnus, aboard S/Y Turquoise Dreams!

For safety’s sake, those involved with setting off fireworks were not permitted to consume any alcohol until AFTER the event. Unfortunately the Clipper captain did not pass the no-alcohol test, but the rest of the hastily assembled team welcomed his extra rockets!

St. Vincent and the Grenadines has no army, but members of the paramilitary Special Service Unit escorted the fireworks to the launch site in Admiralty Bay and were to remain on call until the end of the display. This was the very first organized firework display on the island ever and news spread fast.

Close to midnight, crowds were gathering in the harbor and excitement was growing as the countdown to midnight approached. Our co-founder Edith and I had the best seats in the house; sitting on our veranda high above the bay, sipping Prosecco – waiting for the show to begin with bated breath; hoping that our boys would not blow themselves (or anyone else) up!

Suddenly, the skies above Admiralty Bay sparkled with light and the noise was deafening; the team worked hard and the display was a tremendous success! For a company so new to the island, this was a wonderful way for TradeWinds to join a community project and begin to feel established on Bequia. Nearly half of the participants in the display that day were TradeWinds’ personnel!

For 26 years, Bequia has hosted what is now a spectacular fireworks display at New Year’s and visitors come from far and wide to enjoy the spectacle.

Every year since then, requests come from the Fireworks Committee for donations to keep the tradition alive and every year we are so very proud to contribute and remain a part of this island legacy.

The heart of TradeWinds

For 25 years, TradeWinds has been more than a sailing experience, it has been a way of life, guided by six core values that shape every journey, every interaction and every unforgettable moment aboard our yachts and land properties.

WELCOME TO OUR WORLD

Happy stories

For over 25 years we have been helping our guests to discover new and breathtaking destinations, making their vacation dreams a reality. It has always been our goal to provide all of them with a sense of connection: connections to old friends and to new friends; to our crews from around the world; to wonderful memories; to celebrations; to life and to fun; and to these fabulous off-the-beaten-track locations which many of us had never heard of before.

Here we share a few what we call “Happy Stories”, which show how our vacations have enriched the lives of our “TradeWinds’ Family” and sometimes have even changed lives completely. We hope you will enjoy this insight into our TradeWinds’ world.

We continue to protect our planet and its precious environment, while creating a new “tomorrow”, where our friendships remain secure and where YOU will always have a special place to build even more happy stories.

Celebrating with our elder statesman

Our legendary, long-standing member, Alvin Grancell had joined us for a very special celebratory cruise in 2019. We were delighted that Alvin chose to celebrate his 100th birthday on S/Y PartnerShip cruising the breathtaking waters of Belize.

Since becoming a member in 2008, aged 88, Alvin took over 30 trips with TradeWinds and we often referred to him affectionately as our “Elder Statesman”. Sadly, Alvin passed away peacefully on October 30, 2020, close to the ocean that he loved so much. Despite his passing, Alvin’s “Happy Story” is here because we know that he would want us to remember him in his joyful times, sailing, snorkeling and exploring marine life.

Alvin’s approach to living his life in the best way he could and his delight in finding new places and new creatures to discover in his later years, continues to be a source of immense respect and inspiration for us.

Antigua wedding anniversary

As soon as the cabins for 2021 had been released in January 2019, we have booked three cabins in Fiji to celebrate our 20th weddinganniversary.Byearly2021,COVID-19 restrictions meant that Fiji and many destinations were still closed. TradeWinds moved us firstly to Belize; then to the Grenadines and finally to Antigua.

AntiguaisnotFiji, butthetripwasAMAZING and exceeded all our expectations. We had the most amazing time sailing around an island that was sleepy and over-the-top beautiful! We celebrated our anniversary in style, in our white gear, dancing on the back of the yacht Faith to one of our favorite songs before plunging into the water holding hands!

Thank you TradeWinds for making our special celebration one to remember. We look forward to our next sail, knowing that sooner or later we will get to Fiji!

Honeymoon night-snorkeling in Belize

We recently returned from our honeymoon in Belize and were amazed with our experiences. I can’t imagine having a more perfect honeymoon anywhere on the planet.

When we first met our wonderful crew and shipmates, we knew we were in for a treat. From having lots of fun and delicious food to making new great friends, the crew was the best at making things work and putting everyone at ease.

We also experienced the thrill of a lifetime–swimming with dolphins and to have these wonders unfold before our eyes was absolutely spectacular.

The people we had the joy of sailing with on this trip were amazing and all of us have remained friends. Sharing our experiences with the people we met made them all the more special.

We found Belize one of the friendliest, most welcoming places we had ever visited–and we have been all over the Caribbean.

Thank you, Belize and TradeWinds, for a fabulous, fantastic honeymoon.

With only ten scuba dives under my belt, I needed a bit more help to get ready, but the crew made me feel comfortable. We loved being under the ocean again and enjoyed all of the beautiful marine life – coral, sponges, sharks, turtles and more, all on the same dive! One event we all enjoyed – and I will always remember – was our night snorkeling. The captain took us snorkeling in the dark with underwater flashlights, pointing out things that we otherwise might not have seen.

Newbies in Belize

Our first sailing trip included our daughters, aged ten and six years, my husband and myself. We are NOT a sailing family and were a little nervous to commit to a sevenday trip, but by the end of the trip both kids didn’t want to get off the yacht!

Our girls learned so much about sailing, tying knots, even steering and navigating with Captain Sean. Isabella was too afraid to snorkel initially, but soon overcame this. By day 3, she was in the water and snorkeling off the yacht and by day four she was free-diving down about 7–8 ft! Elsa proved

to be part fish, snorkeling at every chance she got, even in some rougher waves!

Thanksgiving Day was spent mostly on Moho Caye where we snorkeled while our Chef prepared a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner. We spent such quality family time without internet or devices that the kids didn't even mention anything missing!

We are very grateful to have had this opportunity and to sail with our wonderful crew. TradeWinds, thank you so much for a great experience.

Our fabulous Polynesian wedding

As a TradeWinds member, I was delighted to take my partner Angie and her twoyear-old daughter Raya on a late break to French Polynesia. Our first trip was amazing and little Raya took to the yacht like a life-long sailor.

amazing sunset, I dropped the ring in the sand, Raya picked up the ring and handed it to Angie. I dropped to my knee asking Angie and Raya to marry me. Thankfully, they said yes!

On our second cruise to French Polynesia, I knew I wanted to ask Angie to be my wife and I asked TradeWinds’ Sylvain Arnoul to help me organize a place to propose. At sunset on the fourth day, Sylvain dropped the three of us off at a beach on a small deserted island. As we enjoyed the most

As French Polynesia had such a special place in our hearts, we decided to get married on our next cruise. On the last day of our vacation, Sylvain arranged for the local religious leader of Taha’a to perform a traditional Polynesian marriage ceremony on the upper deck of the yacht.

After the wedding, the religious leader announced that Angie and I were now official citizens of Uporu, the ancient name of the island of Taha’a and our names are Uporu Kane and Uporu Wahine. They sang traditional Polynesian wedding songs and we danced after. It was amazing and deeply spiritual and we celebrated the night away with the crew and other members.

MORE THAN EMPLOYEES, WE ARE FAMILY

The crew behind the magic

After more than a quarter of a century of welcoming guests aboard, we are well aware that, although a yacht's accommodation and equipment are crucial for comfort and functionality, your crew basically elevates the experience and makes it feel like you’re traveling on a home away from home.

They become your family and understand the individual needs and preferences of every guest, as they get to know you, your likes and your dislikes.

We feel very honored that we have some of the best charter crews in the world and we would like to introduce you to a few.

Neil and Arzu

In September 2013, we set sail on a journey that would shape the course of our lives. As new crew with TradeWinds, our adventure began in the turquoise waters of St. Martin and soon carried us to our first base – magical Belize – aboard S/Y Joy. And truly, it was joy.

That first season sparked a love for this way of life that only grew stronger. Five months later, we found ourselves running the solo yacht in Turkey, a return to Arzu’s homeland and a new chapter in our story. From there, it was on to the Abacos in The Bahamas, taking on leadership of a full base–learning, growing and falling even more in love with TradeWinds’ mission.

By 2017, we had taken on base management roles across the Caribbean. In October of that year, Neil became head of membership sales and Arzu stepped into the role of base quality control. What followed was a period of evolution – for TradeWinds and for us.

In 2019, Neil was appointed president and Arzu moved into crew recruitment. Four years later, Neil led the management buyout from the founders – ushering in a new era for a company that has always felt like home. Today, Neil leads with vision as president and Arzu champions the member journey as guest experience leader.

Through every anchorage and every role we’ve been surrounded by passionate crew, inspired by dedicated colleagues and moved by the friendships we’ve made with our members.

This isn’t just a job or a company. It’s a way of life – woven with salt air, laughter, challenge and belonging. It’s been the journey of a lifetime. And in many ways, we feel like we’re only just getting started.

Chris and Marli

In July 2012, Chris and Marli arrived in St. Martin from Capetown planning to come “sail a bit” for one year and then return to their corporate careers in their native South Africa. Thirteen years later, in July 2025, they are still in the eastern Caribbean.

Both Chris and Marli say that leaving their family and friends behind was one of the hardest things they have ever had to do, but they had no idea that they would gain another family outside South Africa and another home in the British Virgin Islands, almost 7,000 miles from Cape Town.

“We will leave when it’s not fun anymore,” is what they used to tell their guests when they asked how long they planned to stay with TradeWinds. After more than a decade they are still having fun.

The care, support and love they received from Day One overwhelmed them, they

commented and it was surprising to them to learn that at TradeWinds they were not “just a number”, as they used to be at the large media company they previously worked for. Here, people really cared about them and their wellbeing.

“In TradeWinds we did not find an employer, we found a family. We did not find a job, we found a passion”, explained Marli.

Chris and Marli started out as crew in 2012 and became base managers in the British Virgin Islands at the end of 2014. Late in 2022, Chris took over as head of membership sales and Marli became head of recruitment and development.

Looking back, they cannot imagine working for any other company again. They point out that their lives have been truly and utterly changed by “this wild, weird and wonderful TradeWinds’ world”.

Lauren – from guest to captain

From jumping off the bow of Turquoise Dreams as an excited nine-year-old guest, to being captain in the British Virgin Islands and second mate on Wanderlust II in the Maldives and Seychelles, my TradeWinds experience has brought incredible happiness, gratitude and fulfillment to my life.

It began when my parents became members in 2004 – we went on our first sailing trip to the British Virgin Islands. TradeWinds became our annual family holiday and we are very grateful to have cruised in many wonderful destinations,

including a couple of CircumNavigation itineraries. We have had so many incredible experiences … We will be forever grateful for the quality time, adventure and the exposure to different cultures.

TradeWinds holds a very special place in our hearts and we look forward to many future sails with our ocean-going family.

TradeWinds, thank you for all the unforgettable experiences and thank you for inspiring my career.

Lauren

Micke and Mairead – a magical combination

Born and raised in Sweden, Mikael Jonsson “Micke” joined TradeWinds as a captain in 2002, with his then partner, Amanda Stone (our beloved sales manager in Greece since 2006) shortly after their five-year circumnavigation on his yacht Charisma. For 23 years, with some time off between cruises, Micke has sailed with us with many different first mates and chefs.

Mairead is originally from Northern Ireland and she joined the company in 2003, working mainly in our Sint Maarten and Bequia offices for several years. She also ran our British Virgin Islands base and a small

marina in Eastend, Tortola for two years, before she began working as a first mate and chef with Micke; which turned out to be the perfect combination of his sailing background and her culinary talents.

In the last 10 years alone, the “Dream Team”, Micke and Mairead, have currently completed a massive 54 cruises together, mainly at our base in Greece, but also delivering amazing island-hopping adventures in the Bahamas and French Polynesia, as well as at our eastern Caribbean bases in Antigua, Bequia and BVI.

A new dawn on the water

There are moments in sailing that feel almost sacred; the hush of wind in the sails, the shimmer of morning light on the water and the sense that you’re exactly where you're meant to be. At TradeWinds, we believe that luxury should never come at the cost of what makes these moments possible.

SUSTAINABLE FLEET

Sustainability is not a strategy, it’s our motivation

In April 2023, our course became even clearer with the presentation of S/Y Aurora, the world’s first hydrogenready, smart electric propulsion pleasure yacht. Her name, meaning “dawn”, symbolizes more than a new chapter: she is a promise kept, a dream launched and a radiant step toward our vision of a fully sustainable fleet by 2036.

Aurora is more than innovation. She is the embodiment of our belief that luxury must serve both people and planet.

PIONEERING A TRANSFORMATION

Powered by purpose

Engineered in partnership with Fountaine Pajot and EODev, Aurora and her sister yachts – the TW5e and e models – set the standard for responsible yachting. They glide in near silence, with low emissions. They also offer something rare: the chance to feel the luxury of connection to the ocean, to the moment, to something larger than ourselves.

grand introduction at the 2024 Caribbean Multihull Challenge wasn’t just a debut, it was a declaration that TradeWinds isn’t just following a trend – we are pioneering a transformation!

ECO-FRIENDLY AND SUSTAINABLE A fleet with a future

While Aurora may lead the fleet, she is not alone. Across TradeWinds, every yacht is evolving to reflect our commitment, from new electric yachts to the smallest details:

● no single-use plastics;

● eco-friendly cleaning products;

● paperless offices and operations;

● local, seasonal ingredients sourced at each location;

● sustainable textiles and products used on our yachts and available to purchase from the TradeWinds’ Boutique.

RESTORING BALANCE

Partners in purpose

We know we cannot chart this path alone, that’s why we’ve chosen our partners with intention. They are visionaries committed to healing the ocean, empowering communities and restoring balance.

● CLEAR Caribbean: Coral and coastal restoration

● Coral Restoration Foundation (CRF): Growing 50,000+ reef-ready corals yearly

● SEAQUAL INITIATIVE: Turning marine litter into textiles

● EODev and Fountaine Pajot: Innovating hydrogen and electric yacht design

● Antigua Dog Rescue, BVI Cancer Society, GreenVI, Action Bequia and a few more

● Local artisans and farmers: Sourcing with love and intention

Each partnership is more than an initiative: it’s a ripple of change, flowing through the regions we touch.

WORLD RECORD

Young voices, big waves

In 2024, a 14-year-old sailor reminded us that the helm of change belongs to the bold. Carrack Jones dreamed of setting a solo-sailing world record sailing 100 miles unassisted between Antigua and St. Maarten in his tiny Optimist dinghy, measuring only 7 ft. 9 in. The sea tested him with fatigue and even a capsize, but he arrived stronger, brighter and more determined than ever.

TradeWinds proudly sponsored Carrack’s journey. Why? Because his voyage mirrors ours: brave, purpose-led and deeply personal.

You are a winner already, Carrack! The result, the destination, are not important. It’s all about the journey!

ENVIRONMENTAL HERO AWARD

Celebrating change-makers

We created the Environmental Hero Award at the Caribbean Multihull Challenge held in Sint Maarten to spotlight those quietly transforming the Caribbean. The inaugural winner, Delhon Hewitt, has dedicated his life to preserving the island’s fragile ecosystems. His story reminds us that great change starts with one committed soul.

From sponsoring youth initiatives to supporting animal welfare and cultural events like the Johnnie Walker Open, TradeWinds is anchored in local communities: because sustainability isn’t just about nature; it’s about people.

OUR VISION

The horizon ahead

Aurora was only the first light. The future of TradeWinds is electric, intentional and profoundly human.

Our vision? A fully sustainable fleet by 2036. A community of conscious travelers. And voyages that not only explore, but restore and reconnect.

CircumNavigation

Wanderlust at Bora Bora – first stop after the Pacific crossing from the Marquesas Islands.

The original TradeWinds Explorer program

As our original “Pioneering Exploration Yacht”, the beloved S/Y Explorer has offered very special experiences to our members and guests since 2004. Onboard Explorer, TradeWinds has been able to offer some exquisite opportunities to sail in areas well off the “beaten path”.

Some of these locations have since become established, year-round TradeWinds’ destinations. In other areas, we tried chartering for a season only and found out that those places proved too challenging to operate in over a longer period of time.

Panama marked TradeWinds’ first journey into the Pacific Ocean and shortly thereafter, we decided to continue to circumnavigate this beautiful planet by catamaran. It is a demanding undertaking at times, without the land-based support systems that we have at our bases.

Wanderlust

Wanderlust II

To continue the quest to complete the CircumNavigation program, we therefore decided to introduce a brand new catamaran into the growing TradeWinds fleet to replace S/Y Explorer in 2012, a vessel wellequipped for the challenging and exciting prospect of sailing the seven seas: the 59ft. catamaran Wanderlust.

Wanderlust’s maiden voyage took her to Tenerife, where she undertook a charter season in the Canary Islands in 2012. Following the onset of the trade winds, Wanderlust crossed the Atlantic Ocean and in early 2013 the journey took her through the Panama Canal and further west into the seductive waters of the South Pacific. Here her cruises explored the stunning cruising grounds of French Polynesia, New Zealand, Tonga, Australia and finally Fiji, where we later established a new base.

With a new crew and a new catamaran, Wanderlust II, a brand new TradeWinds 60, we continued our circumnavigation of the globe in November 2017, as we sailed to the “Jewels of the Andaman Sea”, Thailand and Malaysia. Our fantastic circumnavigation adventure then took us across the pristine Indian Ocean to the untouched Atolls of the Maldives and onwards to the sparkling sandy cays of the Seychelles archipelago, home to 115 granitic and coralline islands.

The journey of Wanderlust II ended in the Seychelles – again we established a new base. She continues to give extraordinary experiences to our members and guests.

Through Wanderlust’s journeys, we were updated with Steve & Georgia’s descriptive narrative of what it’s like on the crossings, between the departure from the last destination and the arrival at a new paradiselike oasis. We were so looking forward to the next travelogue and what it would contain, that we decided to share one of the first of these exquisite writings. Enjoy!

Slow down, you move too fast, gotta make the moment last

Hi all, 2222 miles to go. We saw this a few days ago and it really hit home. We were sailing at around 3 to 4kn, which is probably a brisk walk in landlubbers’ terms.

We played around with different sailing configurations, wing to wing, broad reach towards Antarctica and back towards the windless Equator. We had the mainsail filling and collapsing quite violently, as the rocking boat see-sawed over the confused seas. I thought about how to make better speed – perhaps I should use the engines again?

And then it happened, the realisation of the enormous task we were undertaking, to cross the Pacific and circumnavigate the globe. The simple reality that, in order to sail, we must have wind. To surf, there must be waves to catch, for the candle to give light, it must first endure burning. But still, a surfer she is, sailors we are and candle it is. It matters not what momentary state they occupy.

My expectation of the Pacific Ocean was not her reality. The constant trade winds and lined-up long-period swells had turned into windless and

confused seas. However, she was doing as she shall, windless it may be. It was for me to adjust my expectations.

In life we meet these same crossroads almost daily. For, as dynamic and individual we are, still we are part of a greater being. Our actions are a minute piece of the puzzle called “Life”. We exist on the earth ever so temporarily and we must to try to co-exist, not overcome. It’s not something we win, we just try to have fun, love what we do, who we are and we have lived fully. My mother told me once, “If you’re experiencing emotions, you’re alive”.

I can start walking today, at a brisk walk (to match my boat speed) and continue to walk from Sydney across the entire continent of Australia to its western shore at Perth and for distance I’d still fall short 222 miles. The undertaking we are presently embarked upon is immense. We are talking about vast distances, we are trying to do what generations before us have done: use wind power and

knowledge of currents to transport us and our vessel to distant islands – and hopefully reaching paradises. But this journey requires patience. For this is not a race we win. This is simply a journey we achieve.

Sometimes, momentary choices or options may seem as if they slow our progress. The reality is: ultimately these empower us to achieve the very goal we set out to do – enabling us to feel moments “in the flow”. Sometimes, when we feel like we are going backwards, we are actually just getting a run up for a giant leap... The clock counting up and the distance counting down are all relative.

Sure we have commitments, but also very real limitations. It’s not a fight between the two, rather a surrender or acceptance of both. That wonderful word “compromise” is a positive or negative expression – you choose. It is these we must balance on a day to day basis. Life sounds pretty similar.

Slow down, you move too fast, gotta make the moment last … feeling groovy.

Love, Steve, Team Wanderlust

The Bay of Islands offers thrilling adventure and the perfect location to enjoy the peaceful, natural surroundings. The stunning beauty and serenity, coupled with amazing beaches and a host of islands ready and waiting to be explored, make it perfect as an idyllic aquatic playground.

The townships of this bay are steeped in both Maori and European history. It was here that we discovered why the Bay of Islands is considered to be the birthplace of New Zealand as a bi-cultural nation, as well as seeing first-hand how Maori culture has adapted to modern times.

VANUATU

The journey is ours to shape

There’s a certain wisdom that comes from being at sea — a calm awareness that life, like the tides, moves in rhythms. At TradeWinds, we have spent more than 25 years listening to that rhythm. Navigating by it. Growing through it.

This is not just an anniversary. It’s an invitation. An invitation to reflect on what we’ve created together and more importantly, to imagine what comes next.

PRIVILEGE AND RESPONSIBILITY

A quarter century of connection

Since our first sailing cruise in March 1999, TradeWinds has been crafting journeys that are as much about who you’re with as where you’re going. We’ve witnessed marriage proposals in hidden coves, centennial birthdays in Belize, lifelong friendships formed on deck and quiet moments that leave lasting memories.

Each week, around the world, members and guests arrive at our waterfront exclu-

sive properties, our private island in Tonga, our “haute cuisine” experience in France at Château Alizés and step in – not just for adventure, but for meaning. For reconnection. For that magical feeling of being exactly where you belong.

Behind every one of those moments is a team: crews, chefs, captains, engineers, base managers, shore staff and all the teams around the world who give their hearts and skills so that every journey is seamless, joyful and unforgettable.

Surrounding those moments is the world we sail through, its vibrant cultures, its delicate reefs, its island communities and sunlit coastlines, all of which remind us that travel is a privilege and with it comes responsibility.

SHAPING THE EXPERIENCE

A community that creates

Our most valuable asset is not our fleet of yachts, our properties, nor any of our destinations: it’s YOU and all of our TradeWinds community. Our members and guests have brought this brand to life with their loyalty, their laughter and their love for exploration. You have turned our vessels into floating

homes, our itineraries into living stories.

Some of you are enjoying nature with us since the very beginning in 1999 and we appreciate your loyalty.

Our partners, from boat builders to chefs, farmers to artisans, marine biologists to ministers of tourism, have helped us go further, do better and grow responsibly.

Every one of you has helped shape the TradeWinds experience. And now, every one of you is helping shape its future.

We are no longer just curating lifestyle experiences. We are co-creating a new kind of travel: one that is immersive, inclusive and intentional.

FUTURE DESTINATIONS

Charting new waters

The horizon has never been a limit, but only a beginning.

With every sail we raise, we reaffirm our promise to explore the untouched, the unknown and the unforgettable. Our newest base in Grenada marks the start of yet another extraordinary journey, as we continue venturing deeper into the world’s most remote and captivating corners.

On the horizon: Vanuatu, New Zealand and Malaysia, the next bold chapters of our global CircumNavigation. Each destination invites you to step off the beaten path and into a story written by volcanic coastlines, turquoise waters and ancient rhythms. These are adventures reserved for the curious, the brave and those who know that true luxury lies in discovery.

In early 2025, we returned to our beloved favorite: Bocas del Toro, Panama, where rainforests meet reefs and the spirit of the sea feels familiar. It’s a return, yes … but also a reminder that the places we once called

home, Croatia, Turkey and the Maldives, may yet call us back again. No promises, only possibilities.

Our commitment remains unchanged: to always keep exploring. To seek out pristine bays and secret anchorages. To uncover private islands and waterfront sanctuaries.

To share each adventure with those who understand that the best journeys are the ones still to come.

Let’s keep the mystery alive.

LEADING THE WAY

Sailing ahead, together

We have now entered a new chapter, one that asks not only where we will go, but how we will get there. At TradeWinds, the answer is simple: together. With care. And with purpose.

We are proud to be leading the way toward sustainable luxury tourism, with a vision for a sustainable fleet by 2036. Our first

electric yacht, the sophisticated, comfortable and luxurious S/Y Aurora , is more than a technological breakthrough, she is a symbol of our promise: to leave no wake behind but joy.

From eliminating single-use plastics and sourcing locally, to supporting coral restoration and coastal communities, we

are weaving sustainability into every layer of the experience. And we are doing it not out of obligation, but out of love: for the oceans, for the places we visit and for the generations who will follow.

This is not a trend. It’s a tide. And we are proud to be sailing at the front of it.

Stories to be written LOOKING FORWARD

What lies ahead is not simply expansion, it is evolution.

We will continue to explore new waters, launch new destinations and refine our craft. But more than anything, we will continue to ask the one question that has always defined us: How can we bring more

happiness into the world, while protecting what makes it so beautiful?

We are and will always be that place you can escape to, disconnect from your busy lives and connect to everyone and everything around you, just be yourself, be present and care-free.

That’s the journey we’re on. And we invite you to keep shaping it with us: on land, at sea and in the spirit of togetherness on which TradeWinds was built. The best stories are still waiting to be written.
