Hello from Bec Australian Politics... I don't really have any words that do this situation much justice at the moment, mainly as I'm a bit busy researching other countries to relocate to. NZ is looking mighty good right now! Sometimes I wish I was a bit smarter to understand more about politics as a lot of what they talk about goes over my head. Policies, Cabinet meetings, the Senate - I only know the basics. Adam once asked me what it takes to be a politican and I replied "You have to be really intelligent and have at least one uni law-related degree under your belt" But it's times like this I don't think you have to be all that intelligent at all. You just have to know how to throw a tantrum and cause a drama for no apparent reason. Based on that, my 1 year old Ziggy is definitely future PM material. Til next week, Bec xox

Who are we? Townsville Women was founded by Bec Townsend - an unknown with zero experience but oodles of passion. After going on Maternity Leave and realising she didn't have a support network, she set about creating one! That was in 2015. There are regular social networking events that nurture and create new friendships between women who otherwise may be feeling isolated or unable to meet new people easily.
