October is National Safe Work Month, and this year’s theme is “Safety: every job, every day.”
Throughout October, we’ll be going back to basics with a four-week campaign focused on building a safer workplace for everyone.
Each week, we’ll cover a key safety topic:

qhRefer is an integrated platform enabling authorised Queensland Health clinicians to create an electronic referral, post-discharge appointment request and lodge advice through local HHS and other Queensland Health facilities and/or specialties.
Engagement and training is ongoing across the Health Service. Training is required to ensure user provisioning and utilisation, in person / at elbow training is preferred with LOL training available if required - Course: Smart Referrals qhRefer Training | THHS-LOL.
Dedicated support for the qhRefer ‘go live’ period will also be provided by NQRH THHS with assistance from Integrated Care Solution Team (ICST).

ONWARDS is a global programme of clinical studies to investigate how well insulin icodec (a new longacting insulin taken once weekly), controls blood sugar in people with diabetes. Once-weekly insulin icodec will be compared with insulins taken once daily, which are presently available on the market.
