Hey key-uties!!

Happy new years! I hope 2019 is treating you guys swell so far! With this coming new year means that this service year is coming close to the end. We only have around two more months until the next service year! I know it might be cold out, but thank you to those who keep going to Key Club events! This month we helped raise awareness for women's rights and volunteered at the NYCRUNS Cocoa Classic. January will pass super fast and you won't even notice. Stay warm and hope you guys are doing amazing and ace those finals!

NYCRUNS C CLASSIC 5 & Although it was freezing, this NYCRUNS event was enjoyable! I met and worked alongside new people and to help the runners complete the course by providing water and encouragement, it was fun!

2019 2019 Wome Wom

The Women’s March was an eye opening experience that exposed me to different public viewpoints and ideas. Since it was my first march, I was not sure what to expect, but I knew it would be for a cause I respect and support. I enjoyed the passion that carried the crowd through the chants and signs they held. The creativity of the sayings they said and words they wrote broadened my horizons. It was amazing to see how a group of people sharing the same drive can be so impactful and really help spread awareness for a cause. Overall, it was a new learning experience that proved to be a memorable one.

The women’s march was a very memorable experience, it was definitely empowering to see so many people come out to march in promotion of civil rights for everyone. although there were challenges originally reaching the destination and then the cold weather, it was nice to spend time with my friends and other people. during the march many people held up signs and sang chants that addressed the government issues and each persons rights. we were able to learn about situations and conflicts facing many groups of people that we didn’t necessarily know about beforehand. overall, it was a great learning experience and a good way to interact with other marchers.
