Hey key-uties!!

It’s bizzare how this service year has come to a close. Can you believe that this is the last newsletter from me, because I can’t either. I’m sorry that this newsletter is delayed, but I’m still in shock that I won't be making anymore newsletters for you. I enjoyed picking out the color swatches, soliciting reflections, and just getting to know each of you more through events. Despite having to stay up hours working on the newsletters and freaking over the tiniest details, I hope you take your time to look through each one because I am so proud of my home club and to be a part of this organization. We have grown so much together as a club and I hope we continue upwards. Although this might be the last newsletter I make, it doesn’t mean it will be the last you will see of me. Click through the next pages as we see what we did February and all of our efforts that collaboratively accumulate to an amazing month of service as always! Until then, we will be starting the new service year and hopefully be stronger than we were already!

FEBRUARY 2ND, 2019

On Saturday, February 2, the annual Mathcounts competition of 2019 took place in Manhattan, and the volunteering work was consisted of setting up, grading, and cleaning up. I participated in the grading process, along with my fellow peers from THHS Key Club, and the experience was truly an unforgettable one.

This opportunity allowed for me to engage in a different environment than I used to, when I attended competitions as competitors rather than graders. Also, I was able to interact more with other Harrisites and got even closer with them. Overall, the experience was a great one!
