EDITOR'S LETTER

HEYYYY!!! ITS FINALLY WINTERR!!! I hope you all had a great break and for those of you who celebrate Christmas, I hope you got a lot of presents!! Anyways, in December and January there weren’t that many events that occurred, however, the most popular events in the two months were The It’s My Park Day at Elmhurst Park event, the NYSOM Holiday Mania, and the Women’s March. So many volunteers showed up to these events and it was so nice to see people here with their holiday spirits. I hope next month there is still a lot of people who go to these events!

Lastly, I hope everyone had fun celebrating the Holidays and I hope the New Year will be great for you. ~ Nancy Jiang Editor ‘19-’20

Brrrr! Winter is most definitely here! First off, happy holidays and everyone had a lot of fun, got a lot of rest, but most importantly food during this break. January is definitely a stressful month wi regents, but I know you’re all capable to make it through. And sh able to squeeze a Key Club event in with all of that on your plate.

December and January, we had an amazing turn out for It’s My P picked up leaves to help beautify Elmhurst Park! NYSOM Holida extremely successful and I loved to see all of you help make craft best moves with Just Dance. My favorite event of January was d March, and it was great to see so many of you come out to suppo despite the cold. We also got our Key Club apparel in December! my day when I see you guys sporting it around school :) See you events!

NYSOM Holiday Mania

The NYSOM Holiday Mania event had many events related to Christmas. I helped out with decorating the floor where Santa was going to be. I also helped to set up the spin the wheel game. The event was very welcoming and had many events going on at the same time .~ Vansh

Date: Saturday, December 14, 2019 This event was very fun. At this event, there were many activities people could’ve participated in. We were given pizza for lunch which was very nice. I helped out with setting up individual events. One memorable event I helped to set up was decorating the Santa room. Everyone was welcoming and Santa was very adorable. The event was so much fun, I hope I can participate again! ~ Rebecca
