Hey Key Club!
can’t believe the 2nd month of our school year is already over! It has been a productive month for Key Club with many wonderful events. My favorite would be the New York Coffee Festival! We got to learn and experience SO much about coffee while assisting visitors. We received many goodies and merch to take home with us! The NYCF was such a fun event and I’m so glad many of you guys enjoyed it too! Another amazing event I got to lead was CaringKind’s Alzheimer’s Walk. We helped set up different booths and cheered for marathon walkers, raising awareness for Alzheimer’s!
It’s only the beginning of our service year yet we have made so much impact within our community! Looking forward to the next 8 months with you guys, thank you all again for your dedication. :)

Hey Key Clubbies!
Let's dive into October with the same spirit as September! The increase in membership and engagement has been incredibly inspiring, and the Executive Board has had the most enjoyable time meeting all of you! We've had an amazing September, so now, it's time for more fun and service opportunities!
First on the agenda is the two-day New York Coffee Festival event. Get ready to listen to live performers and manage various stands, including the tote bag booth, the organization’s charity project, Project Waterfall, and different coffee distribution stands! You can also help paid visitors taste-test different coffee blends while indulging in them yourselves—for FREE! A lovely free volunteer shirt will be given as well.
Next up, we have the annual famous Breast Cancer Walk. Wear pink and join us in Central Park to support the fight against breast cancer through our power in numbers. Every year, we get over a hundred sign-ups for this event, and I’m always in awe when I see our members showcasing their solidarity with not only each other but other members of the community as well. Similarly, we’ll be joining CaringKind’s Alzheimer’s Walk later, helping with various stations and cheering on participants along the route. Then, we're back supporting the Dominion Food Drive again, sorting and bagging groceries for those in need. Efforts like these truly make a real difference, trust me!
To wrap up October in its obvious nature, Halloween on the Farm awaits! Whether you're handing out treats or dressing up to greet visitors, you’re going to have a spooktacular time engaging with families and farm animals. Let’s keep our Key Club spirits (get it) as we dive into these October events. Can't wait to see you all there! With that being said, remember to stay Kind and Committed through Key Club!

"The Breast Cancer event was a lovely experience. It was my second volunteer and it was amazing to see so many people coming together those with breast cancer and those who passed away. I would definitely come back next year and continue to support the fight against breast cancer.”

“The Halloween on the farm event was an overall great experience. Although the weather wasn’t the best, it didn’t stop everyone from having fun. Each station had different activities and my station handed out candy to all the kids. It was especially exciting to see all the different, creative costumes the kids and parents brought to the event. I was able to gain a lot of experience from this event and I am glad that I was a part of it.”
