It's summer!

This is the last newsletter of the ‘22-’23 school year! Despite the chaos of regents exams, we successfully made it through another year of hard work and dedication. With no school work to worry about, it's time to embrace the summer sun (and occasional rain) and enjoy some fantastic events!

Field Day was so much fun! It was amazing to meet members from other Key Clubs and our board did an outstanding job running the tattoo and face paint booth! Pie-ing our board was definitely the highlight of the event! Drag another incredible experience, despite facing challenges like extreme rain and the unexp atmosphere the first-ever Dragon Fest NYC wa As mentioned before, we have many excitin the pipeline for the summer! So stay connecte up with us. There will be plenty of opportuni fun and make a difference.

Thank you for your hard work and c throughout the year. It's your dedication tha our Key Club thrive and achieve so much. As we enter the summer, I wish you all a fantastic and fulfilling break. Take this time to relax and recharge!

President's Greeting

Hey, Key Clubbers!

Hang on there—it’s the last month of the school year! Get excited for our June events in the summer sun: Drums Along the Hudson Fest, Field Day, and Adventures NYC. Additionally, come support THHS Key Club at Keepers’ Day on June 13th by purchasing a customizable tote bag; for only $10, you can own a gorgeous bag that is embellished with Key Club enamel pins and three iron-on patches of your choice! The selection is wide—from teddy bears to words, numbers, and more, we’ll iron the patches on for you immediately at the booth. On June 23rd, join us and eight other high schools (Stuyvesant, Cardozo, Bayside, Francis Lewis, York, Brooklyn Tech, Midwood, and QHSLS) for one of the biggest Key Club events of the year: Field Day! Hang out with old and new friends at this picnic-style celebration as you participate in a variety of fun activities and games. Townsend will be in charge of the face paint and tattoos booth, while significantly contributing goods to the bake sale, so come check us out! With that being said, I hope to see you all at our upcoming events, even as the semester comes to a close. Remember: Stay Kind and Committed through Key Club :)

The Adventures NYC event was fun and there were a lot of different roles that volunteers could be a part of. The organizers also made sure everyone was comfortable in their role and there was also lots of different food for the volunteers. I hope in the future the volunteers will be able to enjoy some of the activities on breaks but other than that it was a great experience and I would definitely volunteer again.
