Need an additional option during the Summer. Try our weekly summer sessions that will give players the opportunity to enjoy outdoor sports. Registration is per week with a different sport being offered each week. Players will learn the fundamentals of their chosen sport while maintaining the entertainment factor of being out on the field. Makeups will be held on Friday if cancelled due to inclement weather. Participants will be broken up into “pods” ages 5 - 8 and 9 - 11 if registration numbers allow it.

In the event of a weather cancellation a makeup will be held on Friday.

Mad Science at Hommocks Park Ice Rink Community Room Ages 6 - 9

Day: Monday - Thursday

Time: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Dates: Session 1: August 14th – 17th

Session 2: August 21st – 24th

Fee: Resident: $345 Nonresident: $365

Session 1: Red Hot Robots: Join Mad Science and our Radical Robots for a scientific journey through circuitry and sensors. Explore several different types of robots...robots that follow lines and sounds, robotic arms like the ones you see in the big factories on TV (well, smaller than that, but you get the picture).

Session 2: Eureka! Invention Camp: Participants will overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors and the most important of all – their mind. With a little bit of ingenuity, children will create catapults and forts, construct working light sticks to take home and assemble a set of circuits with batteries and light bulbs.
