Summer Weekly Programs

at Snapology we use LEGO bricks and technology to bring S.T.E.A.M. concepts to life in a fun and engaging way. Held at the Sheldrake Environmental Center, 685 Weaver Street, Larchmont

Participants who enroll in both sessions are welcome to bring their lunch. Supervision will be provided.

Week 1: July 10th- 14th Ages 5 - 9

Pokemania

Time: 9:00-11:30 am

Join Snapology for Pokemania Camp! Kids are obsessed with Pokemon, and this summer we will take the game and characters we all love and create Pokemania together in this awesome camp. Kids will build and explore the world of Pokémon as they create their own pokeballs, training gyms, and even their very own generation of Pokémon. Children will also learn about real world science as they learn about the habitats of the Pokémon. Your child will have a blast becoming the best Pokémon trainer ever in this one-of-akind camp!

Snap Robotics & Coding

Time: 12:30-3:00 pm

Let’s bring LEGO bricks to life using robotics and coding in this interactive Snapology Camp. Campers will work on robotic projects and program the models to move using code! Each day will be a different LEGO robotics challenge as students work in teams to build robotic animals, vehicles, spaceships, and even moving games they can play. Kids will learn about gear ratio, sensors, programming, and pulleys, as they create fun projects using LEGO bricks and technology.
