Kayaking Programs

at Harbor Island Beach

These programs are cooperative programs with the Town and Village of Mamaroneck. Participants will be introduced to the sport of kayaking and learn important skills, including water safety and regulations, paddling techniques, what to do if they tip over and have fun on the water. Personal Flotation Device will be provided, or you may bring your own. Kayaks will be provided.

Kayaking Nature Tour Ages 14 & older

Join Naturalist Kyle on these guided tours, visitors explore Harbor Island by kayak and find out about the local plants and animals of this unique estuary environment.

Youth, Junior & Adult Kayaking Classes Ages 9 & older

Each day we will be exploring the local coastline and waterways in the Mamaroneck/Larchmont area.

Date: Session 1: June 3rd & 4th Session 2: June 17th & 18th

Kayaking Camp at Harbor Island Beach Ages 9 - 13

This four-day program will provide youth with the important water safety skills and techniques for kayaking.
