The Branchburg News is mailed by the first of every month, free-of-charge to all residences in Branchburg, population 14,459. The Readington News is a fully separate paper mailed by the first of every month, free-of-charge to all residences in Readington, population 16,126. Press run for each paper is 9,000 per month. Besides mailing to all residences, stacks of papers are supplied to area businesses, schools, municipal offices, libraries and other locations. The papers are posted online monthly and archived with all ads included. Readers can view your ad at any time. Web addresses: town-media.com, branchburgnews.com, readingtonnews.com NEWSPAPER FORMAT: The Branchburg News and The Readington News are tabloid format newspapers. Full color advertising is available. Paper size of each page is 11 inches wide by 12.5 inches long. Printing area on each page is 10 inches wide by 11.5 inches long. The paper runs five columns wide. Printing width of each column is 1 7/8-inches, with 3/16-inches of space (gutter) between columns. Content is approximately 50% news and 50% advertising. ADVERTISING ORDERING AND PREPARATION: Ads are sold by the column/inch. This means choosing how many columns wide and how many inches long you want your ad to be. You may have an existing ad that will fit in one of our spaces. Existing ads may be submitted as a PDF or TIF with a resolution of at least 300 dpi. Town Media can create or revise your ad to high quality print specifications. We do not charge for this service if you are running your ad for three or more consecutive months. There is a $25 set-up fee if your ad is business-card size or below (ad size 4, 3, 2 or 1) and you are running it only one or two months. Any newly produced ads will be shown to you for approval of information/ phone numbers, etc., before the ad runs. Typographical errors will be corrected but no changes in artwork are allowed after the initial ad layout is agreed on. The Branchburg News and The Readington News have the right to refuse any advertisement for any reason. Neither The Branchburg News nor The Readington News are liable for failure to publish an ad, for typographical errors, or errors in publication, unless, in our judgment, the error materially affects the content and advertising value of the ad. Compensation will not exceed the cost of the space in which an error occurs. AD DEADLINES: Ad materials and all payments must be received by our ad closing date: the 15th of the month before publication. GETTING PAYMENTS TO US: We’ll probably talk on the phone or in person, and make arrangements before you submit an ad, but in general you may mail payments (do not send cash) to P.O. Box 5351, Branchburg, NJ 08876. Make checks payable to “Creative Resources.” We also accept Visa and Mastercard. Credit card payments will appear on your statement as “Creative Resources.” Payment in full is required before the ad appears.

AD RATES & DISCOUNTS: Our basic rate per column/inch is $18.50. There are significant discounts for running ads multiple times, for running large ads, or for running the same ad simultaneously in The Branchburg News and The Readington News. Color ads cost 10% more than black & white ads. A three-month commitment paid up-front gets a 9% discount ($16.80 per column/inch). A six month commitment paid up-front gets an 18% discount ($15.20 per column/inch.) If you double your circulation and place your ad in both The Branchburg News and The Readington News, apply an additional 5% discount to the grand total. Ads are positioned in the paper in order to produce a balanced layout. For special placement, including placement on the back cover, add 10%. Front page placement is available at a premium – see details for Ads #5, #6, #7. Classified ads (no artwork) are sold at $20 for 30 words.
