JADE DRAGON WITH GOLD
WARRING STATES 475 - 221 BC Length: 5 1/4 inches ( 13 cm ) This carving is in the form of a slightly curved, two headed dragon. It is done in a pale green translucent jade. The body is covered in the typical comma shaped forms of decoration. This piece has also been covered in gold over the heads and the edges, applied at the time of carving.
