Start your day with a visit to the lovely Port Douglas Courthouse Museum, where you can explore exhibits detailing the region's history. It's a great spot to learn about the town’s evolution, local true crimes, the importance of its natural environment, and its connection to the nearby Low Isles. The enthusiastic and knowleadgable volunteers from the Douglas Shire Historical Society, who run the museum, will answer any question and provide any interesting information about Port Douglas’ history
