PROJECT

SCOPE The construction process for project will be as follows: GREENS CONSTRUCTION Methodology: TTGS will assign (1) crews to work on New Greens/Green Expansion portion of the project. Each crew will consist of the manpower listed above and complete the following tasks: demo and excavation of greens and approaches, assist w/ subgrade changes, drainage installation (internal and outlet), gravel and mix installation on all new Greens.

· All Greens, Collars and Rough sod will be stripped and removed to an onsite location. .

o

o 12” of existing material will be removed and stored for use as Topsoil around existing Green and drain lines The excavation of the subgrade will be completed using a light weight, rubber tracked excavator with a “knuckle bucket” · All green subgrades will be marked on 1' centers and desired changes will be made by Hanse Golf Design. · Greens Barrier will be installed around the green with tracer wire. · Following final approval of the Greens subgrades all sub-surfaces, new 4” perforated drainage will be installed o All drainage will be excavated to a minimum of 8” depth using a mini excavator with a 12” bucket.

o

All drainage trenches will be cleaned by hand and check using a laser transit to insure proper pitch on all trenches.

All drainage lines will be wrapped with tracer wire in all drainage trenches.

o

GPS As-Builts will be shot and recorded at the time drainage is installed.

o

· 4” Gravel Layer will be installed throughout the Greens cavity.

o Stakes will be used to insure gravel follows the contour of the Greens subgrade. · 12” of approved Greens Mix will be installed from the perimeter of the green and spread using a D-4 Dozer

o · · · ·

o Greens mix will be installed and compacted in 4” lift to insure proper compaction of the new mix.

Throughout the mix installation process the mix will continually be probed to insure it is a consistent depth TTGS will check final greens surface for comparison to the Greens Scan for approval and “FINAL FLOAT” all Greens TTGS will provide all necessary laborer to insure all imperfections are removed, resulting in “billiard table” smooth surface.

Following the final approve of the Green, TTGS will be prep all surrounds to insure all sod is “keyed in” to complete a smooth transition from the greens surface to the surround.

The Club will be responsible for application of all soil amendments and seeding of green surfaces.

GREENS EXPANSIONS

· All areas will be prepped for the renovation. Care will be taken to protect the existing turf and cart paths using plywood. Our specialized low impact, rubber track

equipment allows us to work within tight spaces and causes little to no damage to existing turf.

All rough and collar sod will be stripped and removed to an onsite location.

Existing greens sod that needs to be removed will be stripped and stored for future use.

1-2” of existing material will be removed as per plans.

Hanse Golf Design will shape greens expansion as per plans.

Following the shaping and approval of the greens expansion, 1-2” of “modified greens top mix” will be installed and compacted.

All soil amendments and fertilizer will be applied and incorporated into the soil profile prior to final prepping of the area before the installation of new greens sod. · TTGS will provide all necessary laborer to insure all imperfections are removed, resulting in “billiard table” smooth surface. · New greens sod will be installed and new greens sod will be installed in all expansion areas. · · · · · ·

BUNKERS Methodology: TTGS will assign (1) crew to work on a Bunker Renovation portion of the project. Each crew will consist of the manpower listed above and complete the following tasks: demo and removal of existing sand, edging and “revetting” of bunkers, drainage installation (internal and outlet) and installation and compaction of bunker sand after liner has been installed.

All existing sod will be stripped and removed to onsite location.

All existing bunker sand will be removed to an onsite location.

All bunkers will be shaped by Hanse Golf Design.

Once the new bunkers are shaped and approved, a “Bunker Detail Crew” to perform all edging and cleaning of the bunkers floor.

“Revetting” of the Bunker Edges will be completed by the TTGS “Bunker Detail Crew” as per direction from Hanse Golf Design.

New 4” perforated internal and solid outlet drainage, with blowouts, will be installed with tracer wire. o All drainage will be excavated to a minimum of 8” depth using a mini excavator with a 12” bucket.

All drainage trenches will be cleaned by hand and check using a laser transit to insure proper pitch on all trenches.

All drainage lines to be wrapped with tracer wire in all drainage trenches.

o o

If internal drainage is connected to either existing outlet drainage, TTGS will flush all existing outlet drainage to insure that it is functioning properly prior to making the connection. · TTGS will prep and install the bunker liner system chosen by the Club as per specs. · 6” of new Bunker Sand will be installed, spread and tamped. · All disturbed areas will be prepped to insure compaction is alleviated and new sod will be installed.

o

TEE CONSTRUCTION Methodology: TTGS will assign (1) crew to work on a Tee Renovation portion of the project. Each crew will consist of the manpower listed above and complete the following tasks: demo and removal of existing sod, creation of the tee cavity, drainage installation (internal and outlet) mix installation and laser leveling Tee Surface and final “tie in” to the surrounding area. .

All sod will be stripped and removed to an onsite location.

All tees will be shaped by Hanse Golf Design.

Following completion of the Shaping, TTGS will establish an 6” Tee cavity 6” of compacted Tee mix will be installed and laser leveled.

All tees areas will be prepped insure that the rough sod is “keyed in” to the new tee surface. TTGS will also insure the new tee surface ties in to existing tee surrounds. · New rough sod will be installed around the surrounds. · Tee tops will be grassed with new bent grass sod. · · · · ·

GOLF COURSE DRAINAGE/ FAIRWAY EXPANSIONS Methodology: TTGS will assign (1) crew to work on a Golf Course Drainage and Fairway Expansion portion of the project. Each crew will consist of the manpower listed above and complete the following tasks: removal and storage of existing sod, trenching and cleanup of all drainage spoils, installation of AdvanEdge Drainage Pipe and backfill materials.

· All existing sod will be stripped and stored to be re-installed after drainage installation.

o TTGS will use a 18” wide sod cutter to remove all sod · All drainage trenches will be excavated at a 24” depth using a 6” trencher with auger attachment. o All drainage trenches will be cleaned by hand and check using a laser transit to insure proper pitch on all trenches.

All drainage lines will be wrapped with tracer wire for easy locating in the future.

Plywood will be placed on either side of the trench to alleviate damage from trencher and catch all spoils for trenching.

All trenches will be compacted in 6” lifts to insure proper compaction.

4” of approved “capping” material will be installed in the top of all trenches and compacted.

All other disturbed areas and areas of expansions will be rototilled and reconditioned, removing any excess biomass removed from site.

All areas will be prepped for sod and grassed with new fairway bentgrass sod.
