OUR JOURNEY ABOUT US

Topanga Scents was created by Seth Williams in 2017 with the intention of making an affordable luxury laundry line that would have lasting effects. He loves visiting Southern California, especially the Topanga Mountains, which is an area between Malibu beaches and Santa Monica mountains. What began in his kitchen and selling to family and close friends soon turned into an opportunity to start an online business. Seth, at the time, was a high school principal and would mix, label, box and ship all from his home. The love and demand for the products began to grow.

Seth soon learned that in order to grow the business he would need a business partner. He discussed the business demands with his sister-in-law, Erin, and she was eager to partner with him on this journey. She was already in love with the products and had been sharing them with her co-workers, family and friends. She joined Seth as co-owner in 2019 and began making products in her home while building a warehouse on family land. They both saw the potential the products and company could offer to so many others by turning it into a Multilevel Marketing Company. The company fully launched in November 2020 and is continuously growing. In Summer 2021, they purchased over 30 acres of land and have begun working to build a larger warehouse/distribution location. Seth and Erin are excited about the future of Topanga Scents and what it will mean to so many families across the country. Their heart for helping others is a core value of their business model.

LAUNDRY WITH A PURPOSE

Even with insurance, cancer is costly. Cancer warriors and their families can be devastated physically, emotionally, mentally, and financially. People living with cancer are faced with life and death decisions when it comes to being able to afford their medication, treatments, and day-to-day expenses that have now become emergencies. Team Corrie Cancer Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, was established in 2015 by family and friends of Corrie Gross Bechtelheimer in an effort to help relieve some of the financial burden that forces cancer patients to choose between life-saving treatment and life's basic necessities. Topanga Scents chose to partner with Team Corrie Cancer Foundation because of a promise our Co-CEO Seth Williams made to Corrie’s mother, Sandy Gross, years ago. “When I had just begun creating laundry detergent, I texted Mrs. Sandy and said that one day I hoped to create a scent that could be used to raise money for the Team Corrie Cancer Foundation.” He added, “Having a product puts something physical in their hands and serves as a reminder every time they use it of the people they are helping.” Team Corrie Cancer Foundation founder Sandy Gross says, “I’ve always been very proud of Seth, as a teacher and when he started this business. Years ago, he said he wanted to give back. And now, Calabasas Breeze has become a dream come true.” Topanga Scents donates $1 to Team Corrie Cancer Foundation for every bottle of Calabasas Breeze detergent, fabric spray and multi-purpose cleaner sold.

Dreaming in mind! We take great pride in each detergent created. All scents are created to last, but are intentionally made with a plant-based surfactant and are sulfate free, 1,4-Dioxane Free, paraben free, preservative free, vegan, and contain no optical brighteners. We never test on animals. Enjoy using our detergent on your toughest sportswear as well as your most delicate items.

DIRECTIONS

We suggest using 1/3 cup per load. If you decide you need less scent intensity, but you still want the cleaning power this amount provides, you can combine Topanga Scents detergent with an unscented detergent. For hand washing, use two capfuls of our detergent per sink load or hand washing bin.

FABRIC SPRAY

There are so many possibilities and uses for our fabric spray. We encourage you to get creative on what needs a refresh in your house, car, camper and more! Clothes, intimates, bedding, towels, curtains, carpets, rugs, and your vehicle are just a few ideas. We bottled up our favorite California scents to help you smell your best. Go ahead and spritz yourself…we won’t tell!

DIRECTIONS

We suggest holding the bottle about 8-10” away from the item you are spraying. Spray as much or as little as you would like. It just increases the scent intensity.

MULTI PURPOSE CLEANER

Our Multi Purpose Cleaner has the power to clean the toughest hard surfaces while smelling wonderful. It will quickly become a staple in your cleaning rotation in both your kitchen and bath!

RETURN POLICY

Topanga Scents offers customers a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee, minus shipping and handling. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with any Topanga Scents product/merchandise you purchase, you may return (your cost) the unused portion to Topanga Scents within 30 Days for a full refund of the purchase price, minus shipping and handling.

Shipping, Returns, & amp; Refunds:

Order and Shipping Confirmation:

Please make sure your address and shipping method are correct before checking out. Once your order has shipped, you will have to wait for the shipment to arrive back to our Warehouse plus pay a new shipping invoice before we can correct your address to reship your order. Upon placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email which will include your Order# and your Order Summary including your shipping method. Please be sure to check that the correct shipping method is selected before completing your payment. If you select Local Delivery and are not Local, you will have to pay a Shipping and Handling Invoice before your order is shipped. Local Delivery is for our Local Customers only (Local to El Dorado, AR). Orders take typically 3-5 business days to be processed and shipped. Once your order is prepared for shipment, you will receive a second email notification of shipment including your tracking number.

Receiving a Refund:

Refunds will be issued once we have received your returned products/ merchandise. Any products returned used, opened, and/or damaged will not be eligible for a refund. Refunds will not include any shipping and handling charges, except in the case of faulty or damaged items. Your refund will be credited to the original form of payment used at the time of purchase. Please remember this will not include shipping and handling charges. Once refunds are processed on our end, it could still take up to 10 Business Days for your bank to complete the transaction.

Missing or Damaged Products/Merchandise:

Upon the arrival of your shipment, it is your responsibility to check for any missing or damaged products/merchandise. You have 10 Business Days after the receipt of your order to notify us of any missing products/merchandise. You will need to supply us with via email:

• Your Order#

• Reason for Return

• Photographs of your box

• Photographs of products received

• Photograph of your packing slip

Once we receive all of the above information, we will proceed with any proper claims so we can process what needs to be replaced/reshipped. If we have to file a claim, you will be responsible for maintaining the box of the shipment and how it arrived along with all of the products/ merchandise that arrived in that shipment for any inspection that will need to take place. Once the inspection takes place, we will release these items and reship any replacements needed for that shipment.

Order Cancellation:

Customers may cancel an order within 3 business days of purchase by detaching the following cancellation, completing the information, and mailing the cancellation via Certified Mail within 3 business days of purchase to the address provided. This can be found under the tab, Return Policy, on the Topanga Scents website.
