Ima Ebong UK College of Medicine

Dr. Ima Ebong, Assistant Professor of Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology, earned her bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering and master’s in bioengineering from the Georgia nstitute o Technology in Atlanta before earning her medical degree from the UK College of Medicine. She then completed her residency in neurology and a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at Jackson Memorial in Miami. Dr. Ebong participated in the AAN’s Diversity Leadership Program in 2019. And, as a medical student in 2010, she founded University of Kentucky Minority Education Development (UKMED). She was recently appointed to serve on the Special Commission on Racism, quity, and Social Justice for the American Academy of Neurology.
