La Vaqueria So, it´s finally upon us... Christmas, and may I take this opportunity to wish all of you a great one from all of us here at La Vaqueria, arty cafe in Benamargosa. We have a month packed with lots of events including the Holistic Market with it´s unique artesan stalls just perfect for gifts and stocking fillers as well as lots of hand made bits and pieces in the shop. Whilst the sun shines the garden is still a lovely place to sit out and our lunch menu offers something a little bit out of the ordinary and on shady days the log burner is roaring and the hot home made soup is flowing! The vegetable garden is looking a bit tidier again with last seasons stragely crops being replaced with shiny new seedlings and even the mosaics are growing!!! I find the weather at this time of year just right for this kind of work outside so the stone path is growing (slowly!) and the mosaic covered wall is progressing again. We have an exciting line up this month for our Sunday Live Music Buffets culminating in The Last Buffet on Sunday 17th Dec which will be an open mic session where we are inviting all
of the musicians who have played here throughout the year to come and join in. We also have our regular flamenco spot and Jazzyjools & Co will be playing so something for everyone to get us into the spirit of the party season. For an extra special gift why not come to the mosaic workshop and make a present or you could buy a voucher for a class in the New Year. And last but in no ways least.. LA VAQUERIA CHRISTMAS DO...a 6 course meal, all home made of course in a very festive setting just perfect for an evening out with friends, workmates etc before the family get together on the big day.
