m Fro Ed... the Wow, what a scorcher August was! Some areas in The Axarquia hit temperatures of more than 40 degrees Celsius, so even with air conditioning blasting out, it’s hard to keep cool in conditions like that. I mean, is there anyone that really likes it that hot? You literally can’t physically do anything much — attempting even the smallest of jobs in that kind of heat wears you out. Little things such as bringing the washing in, for example, leaves you dripping wet with sweat, and you probably need a nap as it is so tiring. I have no idea how some tradespeople manage to continue working in this heat — hats off to them! The hot weather and lack of rain also bring a shortage of water to the area, however — and that is potentially much more serious than our own minor discomfort. I was shocked to see Lake Vinuela looking extremely empty earlier in August and then read that the reservoir is only at around 12% capacity. Let’s hope that there is a plan B if we don’t get a good rainy season this year. I have read that there are several ways to turn salt water into drinking water (desalination), so why has no-one started this process? Maybe they have and will announce it when the time is right. As most regular readers will know, September is the worst month for me living in Spain as once again, the schools go back! I could cry, to be honest: nine more months of early mornings, school runs, stressed-out children from all the studying — day in, day out. Not much fun! I was thinking the other day, that surely I have done the worst of it already with 15 years under my belt, so to speak … and ONLY (fingers crossed) eight more years to go! At least I only have one now in school; the

Strange News eldest will be starting another chapter of her life at Malaga University with her first choice of a four-year degree in Gestion y Administracion Publica. Fingers crossed it all pans out well for her. On a lighter note, you can guess my best month of the year by turning to page 81, where you will find this month’s competition, sponsored by The Dead Monkey Bar in Torre del Mar. Good luck, everyone, and enjoy the rest of the summer.

Parasitic pimple A mother has explained how she felt ‘the worst pain ever’ when a slimy ‘parasite with legs’ crawled out of her eyelid. Louise Edwards, from Allerton, Liverpool, woke up with what she thought was a big pimple above her right eye. Over the next few hours, it grew bigger and bigger, and the 35-year-old assumed she had been bitten by some sort of bug. As the swelling was causing her eye to close, Louise went to St Paul’s Eye Hospital to get it checked. ‘The hospital tried to squeeze it, gave me antibiotics and sent me home,’ she said. ‘However I woke up the next morning only to find out my right eye had fully closed because of the swelling.’ Already suffering from bad vision in her left eye, she was left nearly blind and decided to return to the hospital. Two nurses examined her but she was told to continue with the prescribed drugs. ‘I saw my neighbour the day after and she asked me what had happened,’ Louise said. ‘When I explained she said to use boiling water straight from the kettle to draw whatever it is to the top.’ She said she did that and as she squeezed the swollen spot, ‘this thing’ started coming out. ‘I felt this popping sensation,’ she added. ‘I shouted my dad to come and have a look and he said it was some sort of parasite with legs. ‘I felt like I was in an alien movie.’

Strange News (Continued) Crab hazard A beach in St Ives, Cornwall, was overrun with a swarm of venomous crabs recently — just weeks after the Cornwall coastline was flooded with jellyfish. The mass of crustaceans gathered in the shallow water at Porthgwidden Beach to shed their shells before returning to the depths. Spider crabs are not uncommon on British beaches, and are instantly identified by their spindly long legs and pincer claws. Although they have a venomous bite that is poisonous to their prey, it is harmless to humans, however their razor-sharp pincers can still give a nasty nip. While it is not unusual to see them in UK waters, mass gatherings like this one are becoming more common in the summer due to rising sea temperatures.

Slithering snacker An enormous snake with two dogs inside its stomach has been caught in north eastern Thailand. The 22ft-long python was found in wasteland with a massive bulge in its belly – and locals believe it has been living on stray and pet animals. The giant serpent was spotted slithering across abandoned construction materials at a vacant lot in Sisaket province. Animal handler Piyachat Charoensopha explained: ‘A villager was looking for their two missing pet dogs, which are likely to be the creatures we found inside the snake’s stomach.’ The snake was found easily because of its size – and it could barely move because of the size of its latest meal. The snake is now being looked after by vets.

Before You Die!!! Cancel your credit cards before you die reported in the Newcastle Evening Chronicle

collect from her estate?'

A lady died in September, and MBNA bank billed her in October and November for their annual service charges on her credit card, then in December added late fees and interest on the monthly charge. The balance that had been £0.00, now is somewhere around - £60.00. A family member rang MBNA:

Family Member: 'No, I'm her grandson'

Family Member: 'I am calling to tell you that my grandmother died in September.' MBNA: 'But the account was never closed and so the late fees and charges still apply.' Family Member: 'Maybe, you should pass it over to your collections department.' MBNA: 'Since it is two months over due, it already has been.'

MBNA: (Stammer) 'Are you her solicitor?'

MBNA: 'Could you fax us a death certificate?' Family Member: 'no problem.' (fax number is given ) After they get the fax: MBNA: 'Our system just isn't set up for death. I don't know what more I can do to help.' Family Member: 'Well, if you sort it out, great! If not, you could just keep billing her. I don't think she will care.' MBNA: 'Well, the late fees and charges will still apply.' Family Member: 'Would you like her new billing address?' MBNA: 'That would help.'

Family Member: 'So, what will they do when they find out she is dead?' MBNA: 'Either report her account to the Frauds Department or report her to The Credit Bureau, maybe both!'

Family Member: 'Plot 1049.' Heaton Cemetary, Heaton Road, Newcastle upon Tyne MBNA: 'But, that's a cemetery!'

Family Member: 'Do you think God will be upset with her?'

Family Member: 'Well, what the f*** do you do with dead people on your planet?'

MBNA: 'Excuse me?'

The MBNA were not available for comment when a reporter from the Newcastle Evening Chronicle rang them.

Family Member: 'Did you just get what I was telling you... The part about her being dead?' MBNA: 'Sir, you'll have to speak to my supervisor.' Supervisor gets on the phone: Family Member: 'I'm phoning to tell you, she died in September.' MBNA: 'But the account was never closed and the late fees and charges still apply.' Pool Services Group (PSG) Pool Services Group (PSG) are delighted to announce that we have entered into a long term advertising campaign with The Sentinella magazines covering the regions of Axarquia and the Costa Tropical which will help us bring unbelievable offers to all the Sentinella readers. At PSG we understand that potential clients will always have some concern in dealing with companies they may not be familiar with, so we were extremely grateful when Kami Knight the owner of The Sentinella accepted our offer to visit our showroom and distribution centre in San Javier, Murcia. We know from Kami’s comments she was more that impressed with the facility and the staff members she was able to meet. PSG are the sole distributors for in Spain and Portugal which includes the Norsup range of pool heaters with high quality performance and low operating costs, low noise as well as built-in WIFI and an unrivalled 10 year warranty on the titanium heat exchanger. PSG also have an exclusive range of fully automatic PVC and polycarbonate slatted covers available in both electric and solar powered. Pool Services Group are aware that historically both pool heaters and auto covers have been looked at as luxury items, with PSG you will be buying directly from the manufacturer and distributor making them much more affordable to everyone. We are aware via numerous conversations with potential clients on a daily basis that some companies are more interested in selling you a product rather than giving you

Of course we hope you would choose to buy from PSG but regardless, our team of experts are on hand to give you free, no obligation advice at any time. Linea Directa SATISFACTION GUARANTEED Back in the 60’s young people laughed at public transport by donning hot-pants, shades and roller skates to glide on down to the local corner shop for some bread. And in the 70’s personal hygiene went out the window when young men began growing those greasy lamb-chop sideburns that were to frame their face for next decade. Then in the 80’s young women ignored French fashion by wearing leotards, legwarmers and a scrunchy mullet to boogie-on-down to their local newsagents in the pouring rain. Now in the 2020s, 9 out of 10 Línea Directa customers get the same satisfaction and recommend their car, bike and home insurance policies. All customer service and documentation is in English, their claims service is fast and efficient, you can get quick no obligation quotes over the phone, and their easy payment options help spread the cost of premiums. DEDICATED TO EXPATS Línea Directa has been providing comprehensive car, motorbike and home insurance to British expatriates and residents in Spain for over 25 years. With over 3 million customers nationwide, Línea Directa makes sure you get the best possible price for the kind of insurance you really need. EVERYTHING IS IN ENGLISH Their Roadside Assistance team speaks English and will quickly help you with your onward journey. If you urgently need a

917 002 006 duplicate set of keys for your motorcycle, then their English-speaking customer service will sort it out. And should you require Home Assistance to set up your new Wi-Fi connection, then an English speaking technical staff will set up a visit. EARN CASH WHEN YOU RECOMMEND US Línea Directa’s Expat2Expat programme means that whenever an existing customer recommends a person, both the policy holder and the friend are rewarded with 30€ in cash, when that person takes out any policy. You can recommend up to 10 people and earn up to 300€ in cash per year. Simply ask your friend to call 917 002 006 and quote your full name. Then once their application for car, bike or home insurance has been approved, Línea Directa will pay the reward straight into the bank account following payment of next or first premium. Things That Will Make You Think And No Doubt Try! Don’t really try them.... just for fun!! Can you cry under water? How important does a person have to be before they are considered assassinated instead of just murdered? Why do you have to 'put your two cents in'... but it's only a 'penny for your thoughts'? Where's that extra penny going to? Once you're in heaven, do you get stuck wearing the clothes you were buried in for eternity? What disease did cured ham actually have? How is it that we put man on the moon before we figured out it would be a good idea to put wheels on luggage?

Why is it that people say they 'slept like a baby' when babies wake up like every two hours? Do the Alphabet song and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star have the same tune? Why do doctors leave the room while you change? They're going to see you naked anyway... Why is 'bra' singular and 'panties' plural? Why do toasters always have a setting that burns the toast to a horrible crisp, which no decent human being would eat? Why does Goofy stand erect while Pluto remains on all fours? They're both dogs! I bet you tried to sing the Alphabet song and Twinkle, Twinkle didn’t you ! :)

The 13th Art Walk Of Cómpeta We are pleased to inform that between the 16th and 18th of September, the 13th edition of the famous Artwalk Cómpeta will take place. During this event the local artists exhibit and sell their unique works in various places throughout the whole pueblo. This year’s edition looks especially promising as we received a particularly large number of submissions. Cómpeta itself is well worth visiting. Located at the verge of the Natural Park of Sierras Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama, with its white tidy houses, charming narrow streets full of flowers, and imposing views to the sea and surrounding mountains, it provides an

unforgettable experience. When strolling around, you may arrive at the main square with its church and very unique bell tower, visit the famous Casas Colgantes hanging on the rocks above the valley, or drop into the Museum of Popular Arts and Customs. And don’t forget to stop at the one of the bars or restaurants for a delicious meal or drink. Admission to the Artwalk, as usual, is free of charge. We cordially invite all art and music lovers to come to Cómpeta in September and meet its artists, admire their work and listen to the live concerts during those splendid three days full of art.

Famous Drink Quotes Speaking about all good things alcoholic.. Sometimes when I reflect back on all the wine I drink I feel shame. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the vineyards and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this wine, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, “It is better that I drink this wine and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver.” Jack Handy WARNING: The consumption of alcohol may leave you wondering what the hell happened to your bra and panties. “I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.” Frank Sinatra WARNING: The consumption of alcohol may create the illusion that you are tougher, smarter, faster and better looking than most people.

“When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.” Henny Youngman WARNING: The consumption of alcohol may lead you to think people are laughing WITH you. “Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.” Benjamin Franklin WARNING: The consumption of alcohol is a major factor in dancing like a wally. To some it's a six-pack, to me it's a Support Group. Salvation in a can! Dave Howell WARNING: The consumption of alcohol may make you think you can logically converse with members of the opposite sex without spitting.

(PG) 95mins Director: Morgan Matthews Producer: Jemma Rodgers Writer: Daniel Brocklehurst, Jemma Rodgers Cast: Jenny Agutter, Tom Courtenay, Sheridan Smith, Jessica Baglow, John Bradley This old-fashioned movie, starring Sheridan Smith and Jenny Agutter, has charm lacking in much 21st-century fare for kids. It’s so quaint, it doesn’t just turn the clock back, it puts it on a sundial. Set in 1944, nearing the end of World War Two, three Manchester children are placed on

a train to the West Yorkshire countryside to escape Nazi bombs. With their mum having to stay behind, it is an emotional start to the film — evoking real-life scenes of separation in Ukraine. Kids Lily (Beau Gadsdon), Pattie (Eden Hamilton) and Ted (Zac Cudby) are sparky urchins right out of a Charles Dickens novel. When Lily discovers a young black American soldier called Abe (Kenneth Aikens) is in trouble, she decides to help him — even though it puts her at risk. There are plenty of high jinks and the beautiful, rolling hills, steep stone roads and steam railways add to the nostalgic feel. Jenny Agutter, now playing Bobbie from the original film as a grandmother, is back and in excellent form. It is Bobbie and her daughter Annie (Smith) who take in the three siblings, unwanted by anyone else. Star Rating *****/*****

Don’t Waste That Lemon Peel Many professionals in restaurants are using or consuming the entire lemon and nothing is wasted. How can you use the whole lemon without waste? Simple... place the lemon in the freezer section of your refrigerator. Once the lemon is frozen, get your grater, and shred the whole lemon (no need to peel it) and sprinkle it on top of your foods. Sprinkle it in your whiskey, wine, salad, ice cream, soup, noodles, spaghetti sauce, rice, sushi, fish dishes. All of the foods will unexpectedly have a wonderful taste, something that you may have never tasted before. Most likely, you only think of lemon juice and vitamin C. Not anymore. Now that you've learned this lemon secret, you can use lemon even in instant cup noodles. What's the major advantage of using the whole lemon other than preventing waste and adding new taste to your dishes? Lemon peels contain as much as 5 to 10 times more vitamins than the lemon juice

itself. And yes, that's what you've been wasting. But from now on, by following this simple procedure of freezing the whole lemon, then grating it on top of your dishes, you can consume all of those nutrients and get even healthier. It's also good that lemon peels are health rejuvenators in eradicating toxic elements in the body. So place your lemon in your freezer, and then grate it on your meal every day. It is a key to make your foods tastier and you get to live healthier and longer! That's the lemon secret! Better late than NEVER!

Guts Or Balls Here is a medical distinction. We've all heard about people having guts or balls, but do you really know the difference between them? In an effort to keep you informed, the definitions are listed below: GUTS - arriving home late after a night out with the boys, being met by your wife with a broom, and having the guts to ask: ''Are you still cleaning, or are you flying somewhere?' BALLS - coming home late after a night out with the boys, smelling of perfume and beer, lipstick on your collar, slapping your wife on the arse and having the balls to say: ''You're next, fatty.'' I hope this clears up any confusion on the definitions. Medically speaking, there is no difference in the outcome, since both ultimately result in death.

Change Of Tax Residence In Spain - Be Careful! There was a lot of talk some months ago about "Youtubers" changing their residence for tax reasons. The most famous and wealthy Youtubers decided to move from Spain to Andorra to pay less income tax. It is important to clarify that it is not enough just to start living in another country in order to change your tax residence. There are some other requirements that need to be met to avoid unpleasant fines from the Spanish tax office. How do you make the change? A person who has resided in Spain and been declaring and paying their tax annually(IRPF), and want to stop doing so (because they have started residing in another country), must communicate the change in their circumstances to the Treasury using the 030 model. Once this has been submitted, the Inland Revenue will almost certainly request proof of residence in another State. Therefore, the person concerned must provide a Tax Residence Certificate issued by the authorities of that territory in which they reside. Please be aware that to obtain this certificate, in general, it is necessary to prove that the individual resides in that country for most of the year, that is, more than 183 days. It is essential to get a Tax Residence Certificate issued by the country of new residence ASAP. However, the above requirement may not be sufficient for the Inland Revenue to consider that there has been a change of actual residence (in which case the affected person must continue to pay in the IRPF for all his worldly income). It is important to be aware that this could occur in the following situations: 1) When the main core of an individual’s economic interests (i.e., greater part of any income and/or investments), remain in Spain. 2) When the individual’s children and/or spouse continue to live in Spain, unless otherwise proven. These requirements can create conflict over the actual tax residence of an individual. When these rules converge, it could occur that if the Spanish standards are applied together with those of the country of destination, a person ends up being resident

in both territories (i.e. If he has resided more than half the year abroad, but his core interests remain in Spain). This can only be avoided if there is an agreement with that country to avoid double taxation, when the Convention would establish where the taxpayer should be considered resident (usually this appears in Article 4 of these Conventions). There are general priority criteria to sort out these situations and to establish where the actual tax residence is (and therefore in which country it is taxed). The agreements between countries usually lay down the following criteria, which are applied successively and in the following order: • Permanent residence. First, a person is considered a resident where they have a permanent residence at their disposal. • Relationships. If the taxpayer has permanent housing in both territories, where he has closer personal (where his family resides) and economic (greater wealth). • Habitual residence. If residence cannot be determined based on the above criteria, it shall be understood to be located where the taxpayer habitually resides. • Nationality. Finally, the residence shall be determined by the country of which it is a national. Personal and economic relations. In relation to this criterion, consideration is given to family and social relations, occupations, political, cultural, or other activities, the location of business or professional activities, the headquarters of wealth management, etc. CONCLUSION: It is not enough for a person to reside abroad more than 183 days a year in another country to avoid being considered a tax residence in Spain. If their personal and economic interests remain in Spain, they will not lose their status as a taxpayer in Spain. If you are moving to Spain or are changing your residence to somewhere outside of Spain, it is important to seek professional tax advice to avoid problems. Your official tax residence must be clarified from the outset. So What’s The Market Doing At The Moment? What a century! After years of recovering gradually, on a worldwide basis, from the economic crisis of 2008, when things were just getting back to normal, we came face to face with a worldwide pandemic, and now with the world plunging into an energy crisis, a war that is unnerving everyone, rising inflation and talk of recession, we can definitely say that the times of predictable trends in any market are over - at least for the foreseeable future. And yet, houses in Spain, especially around the Med, are still selling! This Spring, there was a post-covid rush to buy properties – not only bought by our fellow European neighbours, but also by local people looking to escape the towns. Every agent has been rushed off his or her feet showing houses and preparing contracts. The Summer is always quieter, as serious house hunters avoid the expensive travel and accommodation costs and the heat. So the question is, what will this Autumn be like in the market for selling properties.

I would say that if you are thinking of selling, but unsure if the situation in the world will mean it is not a good time to sell, THINK AGAIN! We are already surprisingly inundated with requests to view properties this September and October and we just don’t have enough variety of properties to match the demand. With so many properties sold this Spring, and not that many new ones coming onto the market, any new property appearing in the agencies’ windows, websites and property portals is eagerly studied by buyers anxiously searching for their new homes. Especially in demand are country houses with rustic and character features, houses with pools, and village houses with good outside spaces. So do not shy away, we are waiting for your call! Summer magic The late Dame Olivia Newton-John admitted to intense 'magical' attraction to Grease co-star John Travolta, but maintained they never had an affair. In extracts from her 2019 tome ‘Don't Stop Believin’, the actress, who died recently from breast cancer aged 73, claims that loyalty to their partners meant they could never hook up. The pair famously played popular heart-throb Danny Zuko and Australian transfer student Sandy Olsson, who develop an attraction for each other during a summer romance. John had recommended her for the role and Olivia said that when they met on the set, the chemistry was undeniable. “Yes, we really liked each other and there was an attraction, but we would never date because we were both involved with other people at the time and both of us have a loyalty streak that runs deep,” she says in the book. And John remembered: “It almost happened between us a few times, but it didn't. Sometimes life just offers you the wrong timing. We had to leave it as dear friends.”

Tour therapy Gay comedian Alan Carrhas discussed the breakdown of his marriage to alcoholic husband Paul Drayton, and says his new tour is 'therapy.' The comedian, 46, and his party planner partner, 50, who had been together for 13 years, announced their separation in January after three years of marriage. Alan spoke about the split on a recent edition of Good Morning Britain while promoting his new TV show and his recent tour. Chatting with presenters Charlotte Hawkins and Adil Ray, the Chatty Man star explained how he found his Regional Trinket tour therapeutic as his split from Paul was understandably still quite raw. Dates from his tour had been postponed from 2021 because of the coronavirus pandemic and resumed this year with Alan re-writing his material following the break-up. 'I was writing fresh and on the go, so it's very personal and very raw, but it's going down well,’ he said. 'It does make it therapeutic. I get the impression people just want to laugh and I do see it as therapy — I just get on with it,' he admitted. Paul, who has now checked himself into rehab, added, ‘We part ways with great memories and continued love and friendship for each other as we go our separate ways.’

C.A.S Shop (Costa Aminal Society) our work here in Nerja.

The C.A.S charity shop has restocked with all the clothing you’ll need for the summer. Also, we have a nice selection of contemporary books in stock, best-sellers in all genres.

The shop is located next door to the Good Stuff Café at No. 2 Calle Castilla Perez. Our opening hours are Monday to Saturday

If you’re as old as me and still want to hold a book in your hand, smell the paper, turn a page not scroll through an e-book screen. So, come and pop in, you’re sure to find something that will delight, almost all of them are €1 each or three for €2. The shop’s large inventory is clean and well-presented, updated daily, with a friendly staff of volunteers on hand to help. Donations are always welcome - please help us to restock our shelves. Of course all shop proceeds go directly towards helping our animal friends in need, primarily for vet bills, food and kennelling costs. Part of the money raised, paid for (among other things) the spaying and neutering of 11 female and 5 male cats in June. This all helps to keep the population down on the streets. In the photograph is Carol, the shop manager, and two friends that help support

from 10.00am until 2.00pm. C.A.S is always eager to hear from people who are interested in becoming shop volunteers. One four-hour shift once a week makes a big difference. There are always two volunteers per shift making for a safe, relaxed, congenial environment. For more information please stop by the shop or feel free to call our shop manager Carol on 621 214 296 or email: or through our Facebook page

) : a h a Jokes h A woman was enjoying a good game of golf with her girlfriends. "Oh, no!" she suddenly exclaimed.."Look at the time! I have to rush home and fix dinner for my husband. He'll be so annoyed if it's not ready on time." When she got home, she discovered all she had in the fridge was a wilted lettuce leaf, an egg and a can of cat food. With no time to go to the supermarket, she opened the can of cat food, stirred in the egg and garnished it with the lettuce leaf. She greeted her husband warmly when he came home and then watched in horror as he sat down to his dinner. To her surprise, he seemed to be enjoying it. "Darling, this is the best dinner you've made me in 40 years of marriage! You can make this for me any day." Needless to say, every golf day from then on, the woman made her husband the same dish. She told her golf partners about it and they were all horrified. "You're going to kill him!" they exclaimed. Two months later, her husband died. The women were sitting around the clubhouse and one of them said, "You killed him! We told you that feeding him cat food every week would do him in! How can you just sit there so calmly knowing you murdered your husband?" The wife stoically replied, "I didn't kill him. He fell off the window sill while he was licking his arse!" *********** When I went to lunch today, I noticed an old lady sitting on a park bench sobbing her eyes out. I stopped and asked her what was wrong. She said, 'I have a 22 year old husband at home. He makes love to me every morning and then gets up and makes me pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit and freshly ground coffee.' I said, 'Well, then why are you crying?'

She said, 'He makes me homemade soup for lunch and my favourite brownies and then makes love to me for half the afternoon.’ I said, 'Well, why are you crying?' She said, 'For dinner he makes me a gourmet meal with wine and my favourite dessert and then makes love to me until 2 in the morning.' I said, 'Well, why in the world would you be crying?' She said, 'I can't remember where I live!' ********** An Irish boy stands crying at the side of the road. A man asks ‘What is wrong??’ The boy says ‘Me ma is dead’ ‘Oh bejaysus’ the man says ‘Do you want me to call Father O’Riley for you??’ The boy replies ‘No tanks mister, sex is the last ting on my moind at the moment’. ********** An old pilot sat down at the Starbucks and ordered a cup of coffee. As he sat sipping his coffee, a young woman sat down next to him. She turned to the pilot and asked, 'Are you a real pilot?' He replied, 'Well, I've spent my whole life flying Bi-planes, Cubs, Aeroncas, Neiuports, flew in WWII in a B-29 and later in the Korean conflict, taught 50 people to fly and gave rides to hundreds, so I guess I am a real pilot.' She said, 'I'm a lesbian. I spend my whole day thinking about naked women. As soon as I get up in the morning, I think about naked women. When I shower, I think about naked women. When I watch TV, I think about naked women. It seems everything makes me think of naked women.' The two sat sipping in silence. A little while later, a young man sat down on the other side of the old pilot and asked, 'Are you a real pilot?' He replied, 'I always thought I was, but I just found out I'm a lesbian.’

Jokes h a ha A crusty old man walks into a bank and says, "I wanna open a f****** saving account." The astonished woman replies, "I beg your pardon, but that kind of language is not tolerated here." She goes to the bank manager to complain. The Manager agrees such foul language can't be accepted. They both return to the window and ask the old geezer, "Sir, what seems to be the problem here?" The old man says "There is no f****** problem, I just won €200 million on the f****** lottery & I want to put my f****** money in this f****** bank." The Manager replies "I see, And is this b***h giving you a f****** hard time sir?" ********** An attractive blonde from Dublin, Ireland arrived at the casino. She seemed a little intoxicated and bet 20,000€ on a single roll of the dice. She said, “I hope you don't mind, but I feel much luckier when I'm completely nude.” With that, she stripped from the neck down, rolled the dice and with an Irish brogue yelled, “Come on, baby, Mama needs new clothes!” As the dice came to a stop, she jumped up and down and squealed... “YES! YES! I WON, I WON!” She hugged each of the dealers and then picked up her winnings and her clothes and quickly departed. The dealers stared at each other dumbfounded. Finally, one of them asked, “What did she roll?” The other answered, “I don't know - I thought you were watching.” ********** The train was quite crowded and a U.S. marine walked the entire length looking for a seat, but the only seat left was taken by a well dressed, middle-aged, french woman's poodle. The war-weary Marine asked, 'Ma'am, may I have that seat?' The French woman just sniffed and said to no

one in particular ‘Americans are so rude. My little Fifi is using that seat.' The Marine walked the entire train again, but the only seat left was under that dog. 'Please, ma'am. May I sit down? I'm very tired...' She snorted, 'Not only are you Americans rude, you are also arrogant!' This time the Marine didn't say a word, he just picked up the little dog, tossed it out the train window and sat down. The woman shrieked, 'Someone must defend my honour! This American should be put in his place!' An English gentleman sitting nearby spoke up, 'Sir, you Americans seem to have a penchant for doing the wrong thing. You hold the fork in the wrong hand. You drive your cars on the wrong side of the road. And now, sir, you seem to have thrown the wrong bitch out the window'. ********** A bloke in a Birmingham supermarket tries to buy half a cauliflower. The very young greens produce assistant tells him that they sell only whole cauliflowers. The bloke persists and asks to see the manager. The boy says he'll ask his manager about it. Walking into the stock room, the boy said to his manager 'Some idiot out there wants to buy half a cauliflower.' As he finished his sentence, he turned to find the bloke standing right behind him, so he added, 'And this gentleman has kindly offered to buy the other half.' The manager approved the deal, and the bloke went on his way. Later the manager said to the boy, 'I was impressed with the way you got yourself out of that situation earlier. We like people who think on their feet here. Where are you from, son?' 'Cardiff, sir,' the boy replied. 'Well, why did you leave Cardiff?' the manager asked. The boy said, 'Sir, there's nothing but prostitutes and rugby players there.' 'Really?' said the manager. 'My wife is from Cardiff.' 'You're kidding?' replied the boy. What position did she play?
