Administrator Assures Community Drinking Water is Safe The City of Leon says the drinking water is safe for consumption despite recent levels of haloacetic acids exceeding the standard. In an effort to help alleviate this issue, the system has been flushed to help provide fresher water in the lines. “I want to reassure the community the drinking water is safe even though research has shown if the contaminant is consumed in large quantities over a long period of time, it has been linked to cancer risks,” stated Kyle Sheetz, City Administrator, who also serves as the Water Superintendent. “They were talking about two plus liters a day, ingested for decades.” Iowa standards require the haloacetic levels to be at or below 60 parts per billion, but Sheetz said Leon’s level was just above that. “We had a 60-point something, that rounded up to 61,” stated Sheetz. Tests are conducted every quarter

from two sites in town. Sheetz indicated that the next scheduled testing will be done in February. In addition, the taste/musty smell that has accompanied the water as of late is not related to the contaminant levels. Sheetz had written an article that appeared in the December 8 , 2021 issue of The Leon Journal-Reporter explaining the musty odor of the water, highlighting this odor was due to above average temperatures in the fall. This allowed nonharmful organics to grow in the Little River Lake which serves as the city’s water supply. Sheetz indicated the city is working to alleviate this issue, as well. The process does take time. He stresses the water is safe for drinking and said the city will be working closely with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to figure out a treatment process moving forward.

Booster Club Purchases New Banners

Recently, the Central Decatur Athletic Booster Club purchased new banners to hang in the gym to celebrate Pride of Iowa Conference Championships as well as state qualifying teams or Top Ten state finish depending on the sport in IHSAA/IGHSAU sanctioned events. The white with red lettering banners are hanging from the rafters above the visitors bleachers. There are banners to represent B/G Basketball, Football, Wrestling, B/G Cross Country, B/G Golf, Baseball, Softball, B/G Track, and Volleyball. The banners can be updated as the accomplishments are made.

Increasing Cases of Influenza Important Reminders from CD Activities Director Zach Clark A and B Seen at School Winter sports are moving along and postseason is on the horizon. I wanted to send some updates and reminders as some important dates are in front of us. Central Decatur is lucky enough to host IHSAA Sectional Wrestling for the first time since 1994. This will be held on Saturday, February 5 starting at 12 pm. Boys and girls basketball postseason dates will be scheduled in the next couple of weeks. We hope to have the opportunity to host games. For any postseason event, ALL ticketing will be done online. There will not be any cash transactions at the door. This is a policy of the IGHSAU and IHSAA. The Cardinal Dance Team will hold their Showcase on Sunday, February 6, starting at 2 pm in the high school gym. There will be great performances and entertainment, so I urge you to attend and support the Cardinal Dance Team. The CD TSA will hold their local competition on the evening of Friday, February 11. Eight schools will be here to compete in events such as: RC Car, Photography, Flight, Quiz Bowl and other various events. This is a great opportunity to support our TSA students. I also wanted to communicate today about sportsmanship and parking at our home events. Central Decatur School holds sports-

manship in high regard and expects appropriate behavior from our students and fans. Sportsmanship is an understanding of and commitment to fair play, ethical behavior and integrity, and general goodwill toward an opponent. Jim and Marian Veltman were married in 1957 after Jim’s graduation from Iowa State University. Jim and Marian celebrated each of their 56 years of marriage until Marian’s death in 2013. They built a beautiful life together, raising three girls – Jeanine, Lynn and Lisa -- as well as welcoming Stacy to their family after the death of her parents. Making their home in Des Moines in 1960, Jim began his career in the life insurance industry and retired after 30 years from American Mutual Life as Senior Vice President of Marketing. Starting in high school and continuing through the age of 85, Jim held many leadership roles in the community. His optimistic outlook on life, keen business mind, easygoing nature, and willingness to listen made him an asset to the many organizations of which he was a part. He had a strong faith in God and was an active member of First United Methodist Church, spearheading the building renovation project that still serves the church today. He served as president of the board of Wesley Acres for several decades even prior to making it his home five years ago, as well as the board of the Salvation Army. He was active in Sertoma and the Waveland Neighborhood Association. Each day found Jim pursuing one of his many hobbies or passions. Jim’s beloved Century Farm he purchased in Madison County after retirement was a source of pride and love and gave him an endless number of projects as he restored the farmhouse and maintained the land. He and Marian entertained family and many friends there, as well as their Des Moines home. Jim and Marian enjoyed camping with their travel trailer club each month and spending Septembers in Bella Vista, Arkansas. Jim loved taking long daily walks, whether in nearby neighborhoods or in the downtown skywalks; bowling in his Friday league; meeting up with his foursome for Saturday golf games at Willow Creek; and playing in several bridge clubs. Jim had a great sense of humor, an easy laugh, and could rib or play a joke as well as he could take a joke or ribbing. He instilled in his children and grandchildren a strong sense of faith, family, education, and community involvement and was affectionately known as “Mr. A” to his many honorary daughters, friends of his girls. Jim was predeceased by wife Marian and daughter Lisa Agnew Kaufman, his parents, and sister Nancy Clarke. Left to cherish his memory are

daughters Lynn (Paul) Mankins of Des Moines and Jeanine (John) Ritter of Suwanee, Georgia; son-in-law Robert Kaufman of Ann Arbor, Michigan; grandchildren Chelsea (Marcus) Jones, Emily Ritter, Adam Mankins, Abby Mankins, Elijah Kaufman, and Jonah Kaufman; siblings-inlaw Kathy Parkins, Lois (Jim) Slade, and Dean Veltman; and nieces and nephews.

BENJAMIN RAY REDMAN Benjamin Ray Redman, the son of Raymond “Al” Redman and Nadene (Lantz) Redman was born June 4, 1939 in Van Wert, Iowa and passed from this life on January 13, 2022 at a hospital in Idaho Falls, Idaho at the age of 82 years. Ben graduated from Van Wert High in 1957. Shortly after graduation Ben moved to Montana and spent 20 years there before returning to Iowa and Missouri. He later went back to Montana to the state he loved. Ben became the father of five children, Tami, Mike, Debbie, Jay and Jerry Ray. Ben was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Debbie Hanson, brothers Norman Redman, Jerry Redman and nephew Jeff Lukaszewski. Left to cherish Ben’s memory are his daughter Tami (Mike) Fitzgerald of Boone, Iowa, sons Mike (Sheryl) Redman of Missoula, Montana, Jay (Karen) Redman of Columbus, Montana and Jerry Ray (Angela) Redman of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, son-in-law Leonard Hanson of Twin Bridges, Montana, sisters Mardell (David) Boles and Marlene Nash both of Murray, Iowa, 17 grandchildren, 30 great grand children and 1 great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

During the Covid19 pandemic, many have delayed routine medical exams and care. According to a survey from the Prevent Cancer Foundation, “twenty-six percent of all women surveyed did not schedule a cervical cancer screening during the pandemic, and nearly a quarter of women (24%) ages 40 to 60 say it’s been more than 36 months since their last appointment with their OB/GYN.” If you fall into this category, it’s time to get your annual screenings on the book. In the DCH Outpatient Clinic, we host a Women’s Health Clinic every week to ensure you can get an appointment quickly. In his clinic, Dr. Earle M. Pescatore, Jr., DO, MHA, FACOG, performs routine exams, completes health scans, and offers surgical services when needed. His focus is on pelvic floor disorders and aesthetics. Every now and then, our newspaper printing unit has a mind of its own and doesn't want to cooperate. Our front page had some issues with lining up the colored pictured. Hopefully that is behind us. oOo Had a fun weekend with the family. There is a new family fun business called Spare Time Des Moines, located on Jordan Creek Parkway. We only went bowling but there was unlimited amount of family fun activities with an Arcade, Escape Rooms, and Lazer Tag along with some simple sports bar menu items. Tonya and I have learned to take advantage of every opportunity when the kids want to get together. Mr. Alex even had fun bowling with the help of the bumpers as well as the ball guides. It didn't take long for his smart 17 month old mind to catch on to wanting to

pick the balls up (obviously needed some assistance) to giving the ball a little push down the ball ramp. The cheering of Go...Go... Go was my favorite. Our main reason of going to Des Moines was to start on those New Years Resolutions from years ago that continue to still be a necessary. Tonya and I were looking for a treadmill and some exercise equipment and decided to act upon the idea. Maybe I will be quicker on my feet and have less falls. LOL! oOo Macson has enjoyed his first year of middle school basketball and hates to see the season come to an end. He might not miss the 6:00 a.m. practices but he will miss the playing, athletes and coaches. Maizee started her season of softball at Simpson on Monday and is looking forward to the games. Since she tore her ACL December 2019, she has not been able to play softball like she wanted until this year. She has worked hard to earn her spot and is fully devoted to her Storm Softball program. oOo I draw the line at

Rodger’s Recollections by Rodger Gatton “Have you read the terms on the sale of ‘Linger Longer’? $1000 down and only $300 every six months, and interest until paid for.” But wait; before all my readers get excited and start lining up to buy it, let me continue with the rest of the notice, extracted from a 1922 edition of The Leon Reporter, where I found those sentences. Written by J. R. Bowsher, the owner, it stated that the property would be sold Saturday, December 2, to the highest bidder. They were also selling the furniture and rugs at this sale. He added, “Don’t miss this sale, as everybody will have fun but me.” In the same edition of the Reporter, was the story of the Bowsher’s good-bye to their friends in Leon, printed here as it was published in 1922. “J. R. Bowsher, in the name of himself and Mrs. Bowsher, who is in Los Angeles, gave their farewell receptions at their home, Linger Longer, in this city, which has for years been one of the most hospitable homes in Leon, and which goes under the auctioneer’s hammer next Saturday. On Thursday and Saturday evenings, at which times more than a hundred guests were entertained in J. R.’s hospitable manner, with music, cards, and dancing, and several amusing contests, refreshments being served both evenings to the large gathering. A number of out of town guests were in attendance Saturday evening, including Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Vogt, Dr. and Mrs. H. J. Throckmorton, Dr. and Mrs. O. W. King, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dayton, Mr. Ed Rathenburg and Miss Jessica Pryor, of Des Moines, Dr. and Mrs. D. R. Dudley, of Mt. Ayr, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wilson, of Trenton, Missouri. Cards were given each guest to write their greetings to Mrs. Bowsher. The Bowshers will be sorely missed, for no one ever visited their home who did not have an enjoyable time.” I’m going to backtrack just a little at this point to provide more history of the Bowsher family in our area, especially J. R.’s father, whom I mentioned last time, regarding his endeavors in Ohio, and in Princeton, Missouri. In addition to the businesses previously mentioned, he and his son J. R., after they had established the Bowsher and Bowsher implement business, purchased much of the 1000-acre Beaumont farm, lo-

cated in Woodland and Morgan Townships, in Decatur County, six miles northwest of Lineville. They acquired 677 acres, about 200 acres of which was bottom land. Both the Weldon River and Steel Creek flowed through the property. It appears the Bowshers were pioneers in conservation measures, for improving the land, and its yields. I will try to summarize, without eliminating important details. To solve the problem of river bottom farming, they set to work installing a complete system of tiling on 470 acres of the ground they had acquired. A firm from Mt. Pleasant was hired to survey and install the tile, which started with six car loads (I’m assuming train car loads), and five more loads were needed to complete the project. Crews were hired to cut trees, clear brush, and remove stumps, along the beds of the streams and on the rest of the farm. In addition, a huge amount of sand was removed, which had impeded the movement of wagons and automobiles, and it was replaced with clay, so a solid road bed could be built. The Bowshers also undertook a project, using a powerful traction engine and a ditching machine to change the channels of the Weldon River and Steel Creek, to prevent damaging overflows onto their newly prepared farm ground. The Lineville Tribune predicted the time was coming when bottom farms would be the best corn producing fields, and praised the Bowshers for their innovations for bottom land farming, predicting that others would soon follow their lead. Before his land improvement and farming venture in Iowa with his son, Robert Bowsher had also built a hotel, known as the Bowsher Mineral Spring Summer Resort, on his farm north of Princeton, which he operated until 1896, when they moved to Leon. The Missouri property was sold to Mercer County to be used as a county hospital. Robert and his wife Mary moved to Leon early in 1896, and lived in a rented house in

3

east Leon for a year, while their new home was being built in the west part of town. I am wondering about the exact location of that home, and whether or not it is still standing. A house such as the one south of the Methodist Church, the former parsonage, has caught my attention as a possibility. Some research would need to be done, on that house or any other prospective dwelling, to see if it were once owned by the Bowshers. In February of 1914, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bowsher celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary at the home of their son, at Linger Longer. An open house was held both in the afternoon and evening, complete with musical entertainment for the ladies in the afternoon, and refreshments in the evening. During the afternoon and evening, letters and cards from friends unable to attend were read. The newspaper described the party this way. “The event was a splendid success throughout and the large number of guests enjoyed every minute of the time. Mr. and Mrs. Bowsher are most estimable people and are known and respected by the people of the entire county. The extreme cold weather prevented many from the county from attending but there were a number from out of town present. It was a day that will long be remembered by Mr. and Mrs. Bowsher, as it will be by the large number who called to pay their respects to these excellent people. No one present had a more enjoyable time than ‘Uncle Bob’ and Mrs. Bowsher.” Before closing this installment of the story, I must make a partial correction of my previous comments regarding the ballroom. I was partially correct, that a ballroom did not occupy the entire 2nd floor, but there was a ballroom in the days of the Bowshers, and beyond. It was the largest of the rooms upstairs, quite long, not terribly wide, and with an alcove off the west side, where the musicians could set up. It was not meant to be a bedroom, as the three small doors in the room open not to closets, but are unfinished walk-in attic storage areas. Coming in future installments – a bit more history, more complete descriptions of the home’s features, and a young girl’s experiences living at Linger Longer.

TWICE TOLD TALES 20 YEARS AGO (January 23, 2002) Elizabeth Marcus, a Freshman at Central Decatur High School, wrote a poem titled Ode to September 11, 2001, that was published in an anthology called A Celebration of Young Poets. Ode to September 11, 2001 by Elizabeth Marcus The planes crashed in and buildings fell down, A country afraid to go to that town. As the leader was flying to try to unite, Many, or all, were frozen with fright. Two towers fell and screams were not heard, Many panicked, and tried to fly like birds. But a bird with no wings can not fly, All they could do was look down and cry. A country on fire with fear in its heart, A people of panic, now torn apart. Watching the screen as many men die, Feeling as if our nation herself will cry. Smoke in the sky and dust in the air, Stepping over bodies with no glance and no care. As the dust clears and the smoke disappears, All of our eyes could only be filled with tears. We thought the end was here, and so it may be, But now the dead's souls can finally be free. Year: 2001, 11th September Time: 9 a.m. Eastern, a time we'll remember. A western Iowa woman set a goal to send homemade quilts to the families of the September 11 attack victims. Her goal was to send 2500 quitls. Kathy Cunningham of Leon had sent one quilt after seeing a story about this project. The second annual Cut-A-Thon Cut for a Cure was held at The

Style Studio in Leon. Shannon Leymaster and Deanna Stone for The Style Studio and Jamie Patterson from The Cutting Edge were the stylists. The proceeds from the Cut-AThon went to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research foundation. The Leon Community of Christ Church, formerly located on North Church Street, received a new lighted sign with a message board. 50 Years Ago (January 27, 1972) Eleven Masonic lodges in Decatur and Clarke Counties were invited to participate in a four-way program designed to strengthen Masonry as a vital force for good in Iowa's communities. Lodges in the area were located in Osceola, Murray, Woodburn, Grand River, Decatur, Pleasanton, Lamoni, Leon, Weldon, Davis City and Garden Grove. Central Decatur band members chosen to perform in the South Central Iowa honor band were Brenda Barlean, Bonnie Sissel, Judy Parson, Rodney Carter and Mark Binning. They were to perform at KRNT Theatre in Des Moines. M c G a h u e y Implement was planning to hold John Deere Day at the 4-H building at the fairgrounds. The day was to include films, door prizes and lunch. The Chat and Chew Cafe in Davis City was under the new management of Mr. and Mrs. Toby Yoder. The committee for the dance to be held at the Leon Country Club was the Ward Kilgores, Earl Hanthorns and Cecil Parsons. Stewart's Furniture Store was holding their 61st Anniversary Sale. Born at the Decatur County Hospital, January 22, was a son to Mr. and Mrs. Garry Boles of Grand River. (continued on page 10)

MELINDA MACKEY I'm a fan of true crime documentaries and books. Right now I'm watching The Innocent Man on Netflix. Author John Grisham is even in the documentary talking about his book titled the same. If I can get my hands on the book for the documentaries I watch, I'm pretty happy. I check the lending library about once a week to see if there's anything I need to read. This weekend I was thrilled to find 'The Innocent Man'. You just never know what you're going to find in that little library! Coffees are still going on every morning; Monday thru Friday and everyone is welcome! A little court history from January 18, 1917: Walter Beck, Charles Kelley and Henry Street vs. T. L. Hembrey (Hembry?). Defendant is president of the rural independent district No. 1 of Grand River township and after the school house in his district was destroyed by fire, he procured a building alleged to be unsanitary and unfit for school purposes. Plaintiffs and others appealed from this order of the school board to the county superintendent and on hearing the superintendent reversed the order of the board and held that the children of the district should attend school in the town of Grand River until a new school house was erected in said district. that in defiance of said order defendant employed a teacher and held school in the building, paying the teacher out of his private means and on July 9th, caused himself to be re-imbursed in the sum of $86.00. That prior to the commencement of this suit plaintiffs demanded the return of the money so illegally paid, and bring suit to recover the amount so paid out. Baker & Parrish, attorneys for plaintiffs. NOTE: The school house that burned down was the Jefferson (a.k.a. Funktown) School House, which burned down in 1916. Have a great week!

This is the last Andover news for January 2022. How did we get through January so quickly? Kim and Maurice Erwin attended the Kansas City Chiefs playoff game against the Buffalo Bills Sunday evening. WHAT A GAME! The Chiefs game back to tie it in the last 13 seconds of the game then went on to win in overtime. GO CHIEFS! Ronnie and Alma Mickelson took advantage of the one warm day this last weekend and cleaned out goat pens and moved the mamas and kids around to make room for the next batch of mamas to kid in February. Definitely something to look forward to, baby goats are so cute! Donna Ogier had a quiet week around the house. She needs those once in a while because she usually keeps pretty busy. Ivan Lane also had a quiet week around the house. Liz Carpenter and Linda Perkins made a quick trip to Bethany Friday after school. Liz picked up her new glasses, and they did a little shopping. Drew Parkhurst enjoyed lunch with his grandpa on Sunday afternoon. Clay Parkhurst and Breanna Main spent Saturday with friends and family watching some football! Cassie Daleske and Andrew Lane are slowly on the mend from being under the weather. Cotton and Coy

LINDA BOOTHE Not much news this week. It is only 8 weeks until Spring. I’m ready! I imagine most of you would agree with me unless you are a lover of ice, snow, blistery winds, heating bills and frozen fingers and toes. A lovely memorial was held for Morris Boswell on Saturday at the Davis City Community Center. The service was followed with a meal provided by the local ladies that was a feast. Morris was a farmer, story teller, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Morris and Jennifer traveled with family over the years and he was a guitar playing, fisherman, camper and cook. Morris was a Christian and loved his family first. Sincere condolences to his entire family. Happy Anniversary to Jim and Cindy Bajkowski on the 23rd and Dave and Carol Proctor on the 26th! Birthday wishes this coming week to TeAnna Huff, Bill Applegate, Lisa Hullinger, Bryce Cozad, Alyssa Reed, Melvin Gray, Missy

Last Tuesday, we had our very first STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Adventure! We will continue to host these monthly programs featuring hands-on learning. The Cardinal wrestling squad was busy last week, to say the least. Culminating the week was a trip to the two-day John J. Harris Tournament at Corning. Leading up to the tournament, they traveled to Corydon on Tuesday, January 18 and were on the road to Davis County on Thursday, January 20. While only a trio of Cardinals made the trip to the Corning Tournament, four others got needed experience at a JV Tournament that was held in Indianola on Saturday. Among the places brought up, seniors narrowed the list of potential locations to Chicago, Wisconsin Dells, Branson, and St. Louis. After a classwide vote it was decided that the students would be heading to St. Louis. The trip for the Class of ‘22 will be three days and two nights. They are set to leave on April 18th and return on the 20th. The seniors are doing a variety of things to continue to raise money for themselves in-

cluding working concessions at school sporting events. Students who are going on the trip are also participating in the senior work auction held on January 25th and also on the 28th at the high school basketball games. Students are required to do four hours of service for whoever purchases them. Another future fundraiser planned is sub sandwich sales. The goal for the seniors is to sell at least five hundred subs. Another idea that is seeking approval is a night of serving at the local La Bota restaurant in late March.

Annual Balloon Debate Underway By Reece Hill Every year, Ms. Layton’s speech students conclude their debate unit with the balloon debate. A balloon debate puts you in the scenario where you and three or four other people are in a hot air balloon over shark infested waters on your way to an island. The balloon you’re in is losing altitude and you have to debate over who gets thrown out so that the balloon can keep going. Each student is tasked with picking a real person, either living or historical, and researching them to compile a list of points that support their chosen person’s case to stay in the balloon. In these debates, the selected person’s weight is not taken into account. At the same time, students must find reasons

FFA Week Planning Begins By Maddy Leahy Planning has officially begun for the Central Trail FFA week, as they plan to take part in National FFA week. Just like every year, National FFA week is celebrated in the middle of February, and Central Trail goes all out. Students who are a part of the chapter began their planning on Friday, January 21st. Normally, each specific class period is tasked with planning one or two events, while the officer team picks up what is leftover. This year, the chapter decided to try something different, with every grade planning an entire day. Unfortunately, FFA week lands the same week as Parent-Teacher Conferences, so there are only two full days to celebrate. Here are a few things to expect the week of February 20th-25th: MONDAY - Kickoff Assembly, Greenhand Initiation, and Ag Olympics TUESDAY - Faculty Breakfast WEDNESDAY - Animal of the Day, Block the Door Can Drive, and Minute to Win It THURSDAY - Car Show, Animal Races, and Kiss-A-Contest Stay tuned for more information on National FFA week coming soon!

why their opponents should be thrown out of the balloon while defending any potential negative claims brought against them. The twenty-six students in the class are being split into five baskets of four and one basket of five. At the end of each round, one person is voted out of the balloon by the entire class. The winners from each basket will then come together and debate to determine one final winner. There was a wide variety of people chosen by the speech students, including actors such as Keanu Reeves and Will Smith, athletes like John Cena and Stetson Bennett, historical kings Leonidas and Harald Hardrada, nurse Florence Nightingale, and singer Dolly Parton.

Motion to approve all items listed in Consensus Items and Reports by Saxton, second by Allen. LEARNING LINK: • Central Trail FFA members talked about events and experiences at the 2021 National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, IN. Overall, this conference continues to be a great leadership and learning opportunity for those that attend. ACTION ITEMS: • The Board approved the following funding requests: o Modified Supplemental Amount of $87,860 for the 22-23 At-Risk/Dropout Prevention program. This amount supports portions of the following positions: Summer Credit Recovery Coordinator, a potential new position of Secondary Math Interventionist to support students in grades seventwelve, and the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support Team (MTSS) which includes the Juvenile Court Liaison Officer, School Counselor, and Elementary Success Coach. The MTSS team identifies, monitors, supports, and provides individualized and specialized interventions for at-risk students. o School Budget Review Committee (SBRC) request in the amount of $39,748.50 for the increase of statewide voluntary preschool program (SWVPP) enrollment in the

2021-2022 school year resulting from the decrease in the 2020-2021 school year, during which many parents kept their children home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Motion for both requests by Buckingham, second by Allen. Motion carried unanimously. • The Board reviewed updated information regarding quarantine guidance and the employee vaccination mandate. In a recent decision, the Supreme Court reinstated the stay blocking OSHA’s vaccine or test mandate for employers with 100 or more employees. Therefore the school district does not have to comply with any of the requirements. The most significant change for the quarantine guidance is individuals with a COVID-19 infection should stay home five days from symptom onset or positive test (if asymptomatic). If they are asymptomatic or their symptoms have greatly improved, they may return to school on day six if they wear a well-fitting mask for five additional days. The board approved the latest revisions as part of the Return to Learn plan. Motion by Sullivan, second by Allen. Motion carried unanimously. • District Facility Projects: o Commercial Roof Coatings is preparing a quote for renewal of the roof systems for each building.
