I. Monday A cloud-like chorale becomes smeared, unraveled, granulated. II. Tuesday The general effect should be: bursts of bright sound, followed by a backdrop of noise (speech) that is constantly in flux. In contrast, the cantibile sections should be legato and linear..

Whispered
Relative intensity of whispered sounds
Sing the first syllable, then speak the rest of the text quickly (at individual pace). Stop when the words run out.
Speak text, repeating indicated portions until relative metrical placement of the end of the beam.
Speak text, singing indicated pitch upon arrival at "moves". Members of each section should not arrive all together, effect should be staggered.
Gradually transition between singing/ speaking/ whispering. The relative pacing of these changes (where necessary) is indicated by rests under the sustain beam.
